A hammer...... (eyes move from left to right hoping to get some approval from the audience) You're not suppose to answer it, Nathan!

Yes, Bill "M.C." says it was not "Hammer" time yet.
But did we all get our responses sent before and in time?

Okay, let me repeat the question and then get a ruling before taking Nathan's answer. Weird Willie is so weird, when trying to open a bottle of wine, he pulled the cork out with a BLANK.Now Nathan blurted out an answer as the stars nearly finished up. Do we have to hold him to his answer?

If I may...
I would suggest asking our panel if they saw his answer before they submitted their own answers to you and Tony, Doug.
I submitted my answer before seeing Nathan's answer.
If this is true for each of the other five panelists, I would respectfully suggest that we allow Nathan's answer to stand.
(Added note):
I just looked in my in-box.
Nathan submitted his answer about an hour ago.
The only panelist whose answer was also submitted about an hour ago was Tony's.
So if Tony did not see Nathan's answer before Tony sent his answer to you Doug, then I would conclude it would be allowable to let Nathan's answer stand.

Doug: Now that we've had our crash course in how patience is a virtue, let's compare answers starting again with Mark. Mark: (card) (buzz) (scattered laughter from crowd) Doug: What?!?!? Oh -- *tong*. I misread. (scattered laughter from crowd) Just let the imagination go wild about how I misread as we go to Bill. Bill: Willie was at the rest home to celebrate the 111th birthday of one of Match Game's old friends, "Old Man Periwinkle" Doug: Oh really? Bill: And since Willie was weird, and did not think to bring a corkscrew, he pulled out the cork with... (buzz) (audience laughs and applauds)Bill: And this, friends, is why I purchase my wine with a screw on top! (audience laughs)Doug: The more oenophiles know. Nels, do you provide a hammer? Nels: (shakes head no) I went with... (buzz)Doug: That would be weird. No hammers yet as we visit Tony. Weird Willie is so weird, when trying to open a bottle of wine, he pulled the cork out with a BLANK.Tony: The only thing I could possibly think of is... (buzz) (scattered applause) Doug: Oh -- treat it like an olive and pull it out. Gotcha. Steven? Steven: (card) (buzz) (scattered laughter and applause) Doug: Ahhh -- *that's* definitely weird. And Mrs. Steven? Clara: Quoting the famous Sisqo... (buzz) (scattered laughter and applause) Doug: Which I almost did. Doug: Well, as a child of four can plainly see and hear, Nathan jumped the gun -- but that didn't help his score. Thus, it won't affect the outcome of the game. David still leads 400 to nothing. Find out who advances to Hollywood Squares after this. (theme plays; audience cheers)

(audience cheers)Welcome back, welcome back, welcome ba-a-a-a-ack. (scattered laughter as Doug pushes button revealing Round 3 questions) Third and final round of Match Game. David, you're leading. Would you like A or B?

(grabs B; walks to panel) Going with B this time -- and only two stars play. They happened to be our marrieds. So, Steven and Clara, please complete this. Ben Bailey said -- great googly moogly. (scattered laughter) Ben didn't say that. Doug did. This is a long question. Ben Bailey said, "With two strikes, 'Cash Cab' passengers had to identify the movie Jordan Peele made his directorial debut. After they gave an incorrect response, I told them, 'I'm sorry; the correct answer is BLANK'." (think music plays) (audience laughs; smattering of applause)

The Solsaks are ready. David, I've got to reread this novella -- and then I'll call for your answer. Ben Bailey said, "With two strikes, 'Cash Cab' passengers had to identify the movie Jordan Peele made his directorial debut. After they gave an incorrect response, I told them, 'I'm sorry; the correct answer is BLANK'."

(audience groans)Doug: Ohhh -- you're going to kick yourself when the definitive answer is revealed. Steven, what say ye? Steven: This is what I said to paparazzi trying to get photos of me and I say (card) (buzz) (audience cheers)Doug: *There's* the answer. "Get Out" happens to be the title of the first movie Jordan Peele directed. And when a passenger or group of passengers strikes out after three wrong answers in the cab, Ben says, "I'm sorry; the correct answer is get out!" -- and then reveals the actual answer. With that, Clara, what did you write down? Clara: Have to agree with my hubby... (buzz) (audience cheers)Doug: Oh, there ya go. Doug: David, you end Match Game with $400. Nathan, you have a chance to kick the croquet ball into the bushes. You'll have the services of all six stars on the last question. You'll need to match a majority of them to stay in business. At least five matches will clinch victory. Matching all six means victory plus the perfect score bonus.

(grabs A) Oh -- and, Nathan, one more thing... ...you'll notice the stars' nameplates are in the "off" position. When all six light up, that's when you can respond. Until then, please wait and marinate on an answer -- while, stars, you'll put marker to card on this question in regulation. Unlucky Louie said, "After losing $500 at the Roulette table, I suffered a BLANKING headache." (think music plays) (audience laughs; smattering of applause)

(audience groans)Doug: Ohhh -- I don't think you kicked the croquet ball into the bushes on this one. Let's compare answers -- starting with Mark. Mark: (card) (audience cheers) (buzz)Doug: A *spinning* headache. Roulette has a spinning wheel -- and Louie suffered a spinning headache. Bill? Bill: Far be it from me to question the writers, but in this case, I cannot help to wonder if they meant to say Blackjack table. That being said, many of the bets at the roulette table also involve 50/50 decisions, therefore I said that Louie said he suffered a (card) Splitting headache. (buzz) I think Paul Bunyan used to suffer from those too after a long day at the lumberyard. Doug: I see some logic in that. Nathan, need to match everyone else to stay in business. Nels? Nels: (card) (buzz)Doug: Another mismatch -- and that's the game for David. (dings; audience applause; win music plays; MG-HSH theme plays)Doug: What did the rest of you have? Doug: Oh, everyone downstairs had "spinning". Doug: David, please join me down here. Nathan, thanks for playing. We have fine gifts for you backstage. Nice hand for Nathan Diniz. (more cheers; MG players' area rolls off stage left; rest of HS grid rolls in from stage right. Doug: David, congratulations on winning Match Game. Now you'll be moving on to Hollywood Squares. The rest of the set's rolling in. Tony and I will trade places. More money and more fun are on the way. So stick around, why don't ya?

I feel proud. I really do. It’s a true honor. 7 years is a long time I’ve been doing these things, but I just thought it was time to move on to bigger and better things (like my puppetry work for example). But I’ll still make an appearance here on this show once in a while, as I love this show so much. But I do feel extremely proud, honored, and privileged to be a part of this Walk of Fame.
