Maybe you can. Now, you have a $20 lead. If you bought this for $12, you'd still have a $8 lead. The only problem is.... we deal with multiples of $5 here, and giving you only an $8 lead would be kind of.... well, not right. So, I'll lower the price by $2.
Your lead would be cut in half, but you'd go to Mississippi and you'd have $500 in cash that's already included here. (I pull some money out of my pocket) I'll throw in $600 of my own. An over $3,000 bargain for $10. Going once.... going twice.... (audience shouts suggestions)

He's going to Mississippi! (audience cheers as I walk back to my lectern)
Matt: $30 Mike: $30 Michael: $40
And as we take the $10 off Michael's score..... Matt and Mike are certainly happier because they're only behind by two questions. Speaking of questions, here are some more.
1. What fast-food chain's ad campaigns feature spelling-challenged cows? 2. What former pastor got in trouble for claiming "America's chickens are coming home to roost"? 3. Speaking of chickens, what Laugh-In regular often asked, "Is that a chicken joke?"
(buzzcodes and answers, please)

1. What fast-food chain's ad campaigns feature spelling-challenged cows? (buzzcode: 31) *Michael buzzes in (42)*Michael? Michael: Chick-Fil-AYou're back up to a $15 lead. (ding) Matt: $30 Mike: $30 Michael: $45
2. What former pastor got in trouble for claiming "America's chickens are coming home to roost"? (buzzcode: 16) *Matt buzzes in (58 )*Matt? Matt: Malcolm X(the phone rings, I answer it) Hello? (pause) They'll give it to you, Matt. Thanks. (I hang up) We would've also accepted Jeremiah Wright. You're now only $10 behind the champ. (ding) Matt: $35 Mike: $30 Michael: $45
3. Speaking of chickens, what Laugh-In regular often asked, "Is that a chicken joke?" (buzzcode: 98 ) *Matt buzzes in (76)*Matt again? Matt: Jo Anne WorleyRight again. You go to $40. (ding) Matt: $40 Mike: $30 Michael: $45
Speaking of the talented and very funny Jo Anne Worley, she said this: "I have a big mouth, and I'm sorry to say I've always had one. When I was young, in church, I never sang with everybody else. I only mouthed the hymns, so I wouldn't drown everyone else out." (audience laughs) And believe me, she can. We'll be back. (main theme to commercial)(cheers and applause) (fade to commercial) ------------------------ (fade in) (main theme closes, cheers and applause)Greg: Before the break, we were talking about Jo Anne Worley. Do you know who discovered her? It was none other than game show legend Merv Griffin. In 1966, Griffin took a strong liking to her and gave her a viable comedy platform to play on with approximately 200 appearances in all. Producer George Schlatter caught Jo Anne's zany antics on Griffin's show and invited her to swinging TV stardom in 1968. Coming back to the match.... Matt: $40 Mike: $30 Michael: $45
Michael is at $45, Matt at $40, and Mike just 3 questions behind at $30. [FAME GAME]And speaking of $15, that's what we're putting up on the Fame Game Board. Buzz in when you know a famous thing. I am a plant that originated in southern Africa. I reach maximum genetic diversity there, with sweet, bland and bitter forms. Evidence of my cultivation in the Nile Valley has been found from the second millennium BC onward. My seeds have been found at Twelfth Dynasty sites and in the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. In China, my seeds are esteemed and eaten like almonds are in the west, being consumed with other seeds at Chinese New Year celebrations. My pulp contains carotenoids, including lycopene. The more than 1200 cultivars of me range in weight from less than one to more than 90 kilograms; and my flesh can be red, orange, yellow or white. I contain about 6% sugar and 91% water. Charlie: This scientific watch. The MTM Black RAD includes a counter for detecting harmful ionizing radiation. Its integrated Geiger-Müller tube measures single-dose gamma ray levels, as well as cumulative exposure. It's water resistant to 330’ and powered by a lithium battery. Furnished by MTM Special Ops.
(cheers and applause) Greg: It's very nice, and it's worth $1,500. That's yours to keep. Let me ask you, Mike, do you have high levels of harmful ionizing radiation in your area?

Well, now you'll know if there is. We'll be putting a $25 Money Card up on the board later on, and we'll have a $15,000 CashCard coming up. But first, these questions.
1. Which finger is known as the minimus? 2. What musical clef is Meghan Trainor "All About"? 3. What Somerset village was the birthplace of Britain's most famous cheese? 4. Named after the ruler of Hades in Greek mythology, this "planet" is no longer considered part of the solar system. Name it. 5. Give me the next line in this Genesis song.
Well, there'll be no doubt in your mind You'll believe everything I'm saying If you wanna get closer to Him

He would've gone with Hearts. (I select Hearts) *[HEARTS]* [SPADES] [DIAMONDS] [CLUBS] Of course, now we all want to know what would have happened. Did you just pass up $15,000? (I hit the button) (blip)*[PRIZE]* [SPADES] [DIAMONDS] [CLUBS] No, you would've won the telescope. I think you made the right decision. (I hit the button again) *[PRIZE]* [RANDOM CASH] [$15] [CASHCARD] The CashCard was behind Clubs. Oh well. CashCard goes up to $20,000 tomorrow. We've got a good match between three good players, and we'll go down to the wire after this timeout. (main theme to commercial)(cheers and applause) (fade to commercial) ------------------- Announcer: (VO) The preceding two minutes was sponsored by BuzzFeed and your local congressmen, who remind you to get insured.--------------- (main theme closes, cheers and applause)(shot of Michael) Michael passed up on a solar telescope to maintain that lead. He really wants to go to Disney World. Matt: $45 Mike: $40 Michael: $55
And right now there's a $15 spread separating first and third. Back to the game we go with this question. 1. What final battle does Revelation 16:14-16 predict will result in the world's end? 2. The movie of the same name featured "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by what band? 3. Which of murdered Czar Nicholas' children did Anna Anderson claim to be?

[FAME GAME]And once again, with only $15 separating all three players.... that's what I wanted to say earlier. With only $15 separating all three players, a $25 Money Card would propel any one of our players into the lead. Looking for a famous person. I am a songwriter born on September 7, 1956 in Van Nuys, California. My last name was originally "Wolfberg" but my father changed the name because it sounded too Jewish. I got into trouble and ran away as a teen but returned because I missed my cat. I began writing music when I was 11 but took a more serious approach at 14, commenting "music saved me." My mother asked me to give up my dream of a songwriting career and take a secretarial job. However, my father continued to believe in me and bought me a 12-string guitar and a metal shed for me to practice, and took me to music auditions. I dedicated a 1996 song to him. I briefly attended college at Los Angeles Pierce College and California State University, Northridge but considered it a waste and spent more of her time writing songs while attending. My first hit was "Solitaire", which Laura Branigan took to No. 7 in the US pop charts in 1983. As of 2011, my music has appeared in the soundtracks of over 60 films. (buzzcode and answer, please)
