If you avoid the bandit, I can tell you right now that your pot will grow to $4,050 and then you will have a chance to possibly multiply that by as much as 4 times.  We have Nathan joining us here now to try his hand at our Strike It Rich Bonus Bonanza, which could pay up to $50,000 in cash! Nathan, in a moment I'll ask you to select one of the two monitors at the first position of the arch. At each of the 7 playing positions there is hidden a cash award and a bandit. If you can uncover 4 cash awards in just 4 tries, we will multiply your pot total by ten! So if your four cash awards total $5,000, that would mean $50,000. If however you uncover a bandit, the game will change, and I'll explain more about that when the time arrives. Going with the bottom again... If this is a dollar amount, you will then get to play the second half of our bonus, if you so choose... Strike it!  ALRIGHT! Another $1,200 into your pot Nathan. You have just won $3,950, so you have already struck it rich, however...if you're a bit of a gambler... (numbers 1 (twice) 2, 3, 2 blanks and one bandit are shuffling along the bottom arch)  Nathan, you can end the game right now and win $3,950 guaranteed, or you can try to increase it. The 7 monitors on the bottom level that are in play correspond with the word STRIKE plus the Diamond at the end. Hidden behind 2 of those monitors is a blank space. They don't help you but they won't hurt you either. Hidden behind 2 of those monitors is a "1", behind one monitor is a "2", and behind one monitor is a "3". That totals 7. So you can multiply your winnings by up to as much as 7 times, depending on how far you can go, and how willing you are to go. I say that because one of those 7 monitors is housing the Bandit. If you gamble and if you uncover him, your winnings go back to $0. Right now the odds are 6 to 1 that you will NOT hit the bandit, but it's up to you. Do you want to take the sure thing of $3,950 or try to increase it? |
