I'm gonna take a break from hosting "Gambit" this season.  Therefore, I will try my luck at hosting the syndicated version of "Tic Tac Dough".  Frank Sartori and Hunter Dillon were great hosts in the CBS and syndicated versions respectively.

This version will be just like Hunter's version.  The winner gets to play Beat The Dragon for cash and prize package.


I'm looking for two players to play this portion.  And I'm also looking for stand-by contestants to play against the champion in the next portion.  Please let me know and we'll start the show this Sunday at 9:00 pm EDT.

Tony:  Thank you, Johnny Gilbert.  Hello, everybody... and welcome to the return of Tic Tac Dough.  You're not seeing things, folks.  Frank is STILL the host of the daytime version on CBS.  This is the primetime version of our show.  We still have the strategy... we still have the knowledge... and I know that you're gonna have some fun watching us.

You get an X or an O by answering a question in a category that you've selected.  Three Xs or three Os--

or diagonally wins the match.


An X or an O in an outside box adds $250 to the pot.

And the middle box, being so important, has two part questions... but it's worth a very important $500 to the pot.

The winner of the match gets to keep the cash in the pot and will be playing Beat The Dragon for thousands more including a special prize package.
