I'm gonna take a break from hosting "Gambit" this season. Therefore, I will try my luck at hosting the syndicated version of "Tic Tac Dough". Frank Sartori and Hunter Dillon were great hosts in the CBS and syndicated versions respectively.
This version will be just like Hunter's version. The winner gets to play Beat The Dragon for cash and prize package.
I'm looking for two players to play this portion. And I'm also looking for stand-by contestants to play against the champion in the next portion. Please let me know and we'll start the show this Sunday at 9:00 pm EDT.

And good luck to you as well, Matt. Now that we've gotten to know our first two contenders, let's play Tic Tac Dough.[CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]*host walks to his podium* Before we start the game, please allow me to explain the rules-- You get an X or an O by answering a question in a category that you've selected. Three Xs or three Os-- upside down... across... or diagonally wins the match. An X or an O in an outside box adds $250 to the pot. And the middle box, being so important, has two part questions... but it's worth a very important $500 to the pot. The winner of the match gets to keep the cash in the pot and will be playing Beat The Dragon for thousands more including a special prize package. Now that we've gotten to know the rules, let's take a look at the nine categories. [CATEGORIES REVEAL]They are... Music, American History, News of the 1990's, Potluck Pictures (a visual category), Musicals, Biology, Literature, The Jump-In Category is a very special red category where two players try to buzz in and answer the question correctly. And finally... Baseball. And before the start of the show, we drew numbers to see who goes first... and Nels have won it. If you're ready, please select a category.

Correct! [APPLAUSE]Before we put an X on the board, I've gotten a ruling from one of our judges. He had checked a couple of sources for the 1896 Olympics, and they both said Athens, Greece was the host city not Olympia. Therefore, Matt is correct and will be awarded an O on the board. [CHEERS, APPLAUSE][DING]And now, we'll shuffle. [CATEGORIES SHUFFLE]Let's add another O to the board, Matt. Please select.
