For this edition, we will match all the cash won and donate it to charity, as we battle the COVID-19 pandemic together. Nels is our current champion, having won $44,675 on his last appearance. As soon as he and two others sign in, we will start the show.

(PYL Intro) GEORGE GRAY: Today, these three players are after high stakes, but they'll have to avoid the Whammy as they play the most exciting game of their lives! (PYL Theme) From Television City in Hollywood, it's time to Press Your Luck! And now here's your host, the star of Press Your Luck, Erin Harris!ERIN HARRIS: Thank you ever so much much, George Gray, and welcome to a very special episode of Press Your Luck, where we're donating to charity in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Before we introduce the contestants, I'd like to thank all the people who are keeping us safe in this unprecedented global outbreak. You are the true definition of the word hero, and we appreciate everything you've done for us, risking your lives to save our own. Now, we have with us our returning champion, Nels Snesrud, who won $44,675 his first time on the show. Welcome back, Nels. And you will be playing against Matt Ringgenberg and Thien. Good luck to all three of you, and let's play our first question round, in which you will try to earn spins by answering a series of four. A correct buzz-in answer is worth three spins, and a correct multiple-choice answer is worth one.
Hands on your buzzers, and here we go with the first question:
"Lisa Kudrow played Phoebe on Friends, but what was her character's name on Mad About You?"

First off, I should clarify that the rules don't mention anything about PMs used to buzz-in, so as long as you're the first to buzz in, either with a direct post or PM, then we'll have no choice but to accept that answer. But maybe I'll have to look into changing it so that nothing like this ever happens again. ERIN: The correct answer is Ursula, so Nels and Matt each get one spin.ding! ding! Here's the second question:
"A Zonk is the definition of a useless prize on what game show?"

ERIN: Is the correct answer Let's Make a Deal, Sale of the Century or Wheel of Fortune?
Of course, it's Let's Make a Deal! So three spins go to Matt...ding! ...and one each goes to Nels and Thien.ding! ding! Question number 3 is:
"One lyric in the song Don't Stop Believing mentions that the city boy was 'born and raised in South' what city?"

I was the one who buzzed in on Detroit. If you look closer (specifically, a couple of posts up), you will see that Nels was actually the first to buzz in with his answer. ERIN: Is the correct answer 150, 175 or 250?

(PYL Theme) Heading into our first Big Board round, we have Nels at eight spins, Matt at six and Thien with two. Which one of them will get the biggest bucks? Find out after this break.

ERIN: Welcome back to Press Your Luck, where we're now ready to take on the Big Board! Here's how the game works: You will pick a number from 1 to 54, and then say STOP!!! (13) For my demonstration spin, I landed on a Whammy. And speaking of a Whammy, beware of that space, because if you land on him, he will take away all of your earnings, and four Whammies will put you out of the game. At the end of the game, the player with the most earnings wins the game and will come back on the next show.
With two spins, Thien will start the round.TOP ROW:A--$1100/$1600/$1400B--$100/Whammy/$1150 C--$500+SPIN/$1000+SPIN/$2500+SPIN D--Whammy/$775/$1750 E--Computer Desk/$450/Whammy F--$1500/Electric Range/$1900RIGHT COLUMN:G--$950/$200/Whammy H--HD Video Camera/$1200/$1300 I--$675/Whammy/$2000 BOTTOM ROW:J--Whammy/$850/Pick-a-CornerK--$1475/VR Headset/$300 L--Add-a-One/Whammy/$400 M--$900/Whammy/Big Bucks N--Whammy/$500/$700 O--$800/$1350/Beats HeadphonesLEFT COLUMN:P--$525/Whammy/$1600 Q--Whammy/$1825/$600 R--Small Appliances/$700/Whammy
