(SHOWING CLIPS OF WINS IN MAIN AND BONUS GAME)
Ladies and gentlemen, one of these three players will have a chance to win lots of cash in the game of stragedy, cunning and knowledge. THIS IS.......
BLOCKERS
and here's your host..........JOHN BERGMAN.
(AUDIENCE APPLAUSE)
Thanks you all once again for watching us there in TV land and out there in our audience. This is BLOCKERS, a game of stragedy, nerve and knowledge in many forms. On our last show, we crowned a new champ who won $10,000 with three seconds left on the clock. Let's meet him again, EVAN.
(AUDIENCE APPLAUSE)
EVAN, welcome to BLOCKERS once again. How does it feel, again, to be a rich man?

I bet it would, EVAN. Well, you have a chance to win a lot more for your college education, however, there's two people who want to take your crown away and win some cash as well. Let's meet one of them right now...His name is CLEMENT.
(AUDIENCE APPLAUSE)
CLEMENT, welcome to BLOCKERS, tell us about yourself.

Welcome back to BLOCKERS and here's how we play our game: The object of our game is to get your colored block in each of the seven rows here by answering questions in the categories that pertain to that row. What you basically do is to give me a category and a letter from the word BLOCKER and wherever they meet is the block that you are trying for. There are two types of questions: One is worth money ,anywhere from $25 to $200, and the other type is what we call a COMMAND BLOCK. Those are special because they involve two questions, the first being worth $50 and the other depends on whatever the command block is. There are three types of COMMAND BLOCKS up there on our board: GAIN, which, if you get the second question right, will get your an extra block in another row, as well as $50 more. STEAL, which if you get the second question right, will allow you to steal an opponent's block and replace with one of your own, as well as $50 more. and CHANCE, which if you get the second question right, will add whatever the CHANCE JACKPOT is to your score. Now, the CHANCE is special because you have a choice on whether to go for it or not. The reason is that, if you go for the second question and get it wrong, you'll lose the block from the first question. Now, if the block you pick is a money amount, then the question is a toss-up. However, if you pick a COMMAND block, then the question is only for you, unless you give me a wrong answer. Then, it becomes a toss-up to the other remaining two. The person who gets all their colored blocks in each of the seven rows wins the game and gets to keep the money they've accumulated. Also, they will go on to play SUPERBLOCKERS for a chance at $10,000 in cash. (AUDIENCE APPLAUSE) Is there any questions?

|
Post by johnnyb on Apr 5, 2015 12:33:51 GMT -5
Behind THE COMICS and the letter B is.......GAIN. (AUDIENCE APPLAUSE) You know how this works, KEVIN. Two questions: first is worth $50; the other one is worth $50 more and a block in any category you want. Here's your first question: THE COMICS: In the comic strip "Blondie", what is the last name of Blondie and Dagwood, her husband?
