You certainly will be, Matt. In fact, let's all wish tonight's players the very best of luck tonight! (Audience Cheers and Applause)Now, before we move on to the next round, let's take a quick look at the Big Money board. CLEAN SWEEP BONUS: $3000 ALL ROUNDS CLEARED JACKPOT: $10,000(Bell Clangs)I want to remind you that if only one of you answers ALL the questions correctly, including the one question for control of the round, and you'll win the Clean Sweep Bonus, which is now at $3,000. And to the one person who wins ALL of the rounds in one game, and you'll win the All Rounds Cleared Jackpot, which is at $10,000. And now players, I'm very excited for what's going to happen from this point on in the game. We have revamped the 3 remaining rounds of Uno: The Game Show, and we think that it's going to be fantastic! In fact, here we go with Round 2, which is now called " Two-in-One"! In Two-In-One, not only you'll going to be playing with UNO, but you're also going to playing its sequel, DOS! In DOS, the object is still the same as UNO, which is to get rid of all the cards from your hand first before your opponents, but how you play DOS is a bit different than UNO, and I'm going to explain in thorough detail as to how it's played. You each now have TWO hands: One for UNO, with 7 new cards for each player, and one for DOS, also with 7 cards for each player. For the UNO deck, we are going to continue from where we left off from the cards that were dealt and not dealt, so remember which cards were played. For the DOS deck, however, another team of lab rats from Tandem Technologies have shuffled the deck, while one of our producers at random cut the cards and sealed them before giving them to Mari, who has dealt the cards for our players during the break. In this round, Jovenshire, Lasercorn and Sohinki are monitoring Danny, Patrick and Matt, respectively. [1] [2] [UNO] [4] [UNO] [6] [UNO] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] First things first, our Head-Start portion of the round. We are going to continue where we left off from the Question Card Board, but only this time, the dollar values have been doubled. That means that whatever number pops up this time, we're going to multiply that number by $100. However, you'll still be playing for 100 points and the chance to discard two cards from your UNO hand. Since you also have a DOS hand, you now have a chance to discard all but TWO cards, but in order for you to do that, you have to answer the first question correctly, and when you do, you'll then have an important decision to make, because the second question to discard the cards from your DOS hand will NOT have any multiple-choice answers, and it's going to be a question about the correct answer. Not only that, the second question will come with a risk, and I'll tell you about that risk to whomever answers the first question right. Danny, for winning Round 1, you'll get to go first by choosing one of the numbers left on the board.

And behind #6 is... [1] [2] [UNO] [4] [UNO] [3] [UNO] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] a 3, so this question is for $300, 100 points and the right to discard 2 cards from your UNO hand. I repeat, 2 cards from your UNO hand. We'll deal with how to discard one of the DOS cards to the one who gets this question right. Also, from this point on, there are now 4 possible answers, in which 1 of them is the correct answer. With all that said players, put your hands on your buzzers, because here comes the first set of answers and the question. "Alien" "Area 51" "Event Horizon" "Mission to Mars"Which movie's tagline was "In Space, no one can hear you scream"?Danny: 20 Patrick: 5 Matt: 79 Magic #: 13 (Buzz-In!)And Danny buzzes in! If that was a guess, then it's a good guess, because Alien is correct! "Alien"
"Area 51" "Event Horizon" "Mission to Mars"(Audience Applause)Patrick, you'll get to discard 2 cards from your UNO hand and put them in the bottom of the deck, but Danny, on the other hand, got that one wrong, so you'll get to add 1 more card from the top of the deck and into your hand. UNO CARDS TOTAL:
DANNY: 8 PATRICK: 5 MATT: 7Now Patrick, you got that question right. Now you have a decision to make. Would you like to discard one of your DOS cards or move on to the next question? If you decide to discard one of your DOS cards, you have to earn it by answering a question about Aliens. This one is NOT multiple-choice. If you get the question right, you'll score another 100 points and more importantly, you'll get to discard one card from your DOS hand and put that card in the bottom of the deck. However, if you're wrong, you'll have to add 2 cards from the top of the deck and add them to your hand. What do you want to do, Patrick? (Audience Suggestions)

That's the answer we're looking for! They're Orphans
They're Millionaires They're Graduates
They're Adopted(Audience Applause)After their parents got killed in a car crash by a drunk driver, the 5 Salinger siblings all became orphans. Matt, you'll get to discard 2 cards from your UNO hand and put them in the bottom of the deck. As for Danny and Patrick, however, you'll each get to add 1 more card to hand from the top of the deck. UNO CARDS TOTAL:
DANNY: 9 PATRICK: 6 MATT: 5Now Matt, it's decision time. Would you like to answer a question about Orphans for the right to discard one of your DOS cards from your hand, or move on to the next question? Keep in mind that if you're wrong on that one, you'll add 2 cards to your DOS hand. (Audience Suggestions)

And behind #1 is.... [WILD] [2] [UNO] [UNO] [UNO] [UNO] [UNO] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] (Wild Card!)There it is; it's the WILD card! (Audience Cheers and Applause)Matt, since you've picked the WILD card, this question is all yours and yours alone. You first have a decision to make. I will show you two categories to choose from in a moment and this question will not be multiple choice. Before you get to hear the question, you will have to decide on whether you want to wager up to $1000 in cash and discard 2 cards from your hand or trade one of your cards for this WILD card. And if you get that question right, we'll deal with how to eliminate THREE DOS cards from your hand. With that said, here are the two categories to choose from. Starring Tom Cruise Weird TVMatt, choose one of the categories and then decide whether you want to wager up to $1000 and discard 2 cards from your hand or a chance to trade one of your cards for this WILD card. I also want to warn you that if you get this question wrong, you'll be forced to add 2 cards to your hand instead of 1. (Audience Suggestions)

Going to wager $700 and you've decided to discard 2 cards from your hand.
Of course, you have to answer this question correctly.
Starring Tom Cruise is what you chose and here's the question.
What is Tom Cruise's occupation in "Jerry Maguire"?
You have 24 hours from now to answer, Matt.

OK, I need to go the judges on this one. Judges, are we going to accept that answer? (Buzzer)I was afraid that you wouldn't. Matt, you were so close on that answer, but we were actually looking for a Sports Agent. You see, in the movie, Jerry Maguire, played by Tom Cruise, is a glossy 35-year-old sports agent working for Sports Management International (SMI). So sadly, you'll lose $700 for that, bringing you down in the hole with -$400, and as an additional punishment, you'll get to add 2 cards from the top of the deck, and into your hand. And you won't get to discard any DOS cards on top of that. However, there's still plenty of time for you to catch up, but only if you play your cards right. UNO CARDS TOTAL:
DANNY: 9 PATRICK: 6 MATT: 7
DOS CARDS TOTAL:
DANNY: 7 PATRICK: 7 MATT: 7So, at the end of the Head-Start portion of this round, we had some tough questions this time around as Danny has 9 cards, Patrick has 6 cards, Matt has 7 cards, according to their UNO hands, and everyone still has their starting DOS hand. DANNY <-----> PATRICK <-----> MATT
34 <-----> 300 <-----> 200
$3400 <-----> $400 <-----> -$400 Now we're about to get ready to start the main portion of the round, BUT! The turn order is going to be extended a little, and I'm going to show you how the turn goes. However, since this is the first we're playing DOS, let me explain how this game is played. Like UNO, in DOS, you have to discard your cards by matching the cards in the center, but here in DOS, you can only match them by number. The numbers need to be matched first, then only the color is noted. Colors only earn a bonus called a Color Match Bonus, which I'll explain in a moment. Let's talk about the deck. Like UNO, there are 108 cards, but this time, the cards consists of 96 numbered color cards (Red/Blue/Green/Yellow) and 12 Wild DOS cards. Each color has three cards of the numbers 1, 3, 4, 5, and two cards of the numbers 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. There are also two Wild # cards for each of the four colors. Notice that there is no number 2 card for each color, but instead, the 2s have been replaced by Wild Dos cards as we will see below. In DOS, there will be AT LEAST two cards in the play field area, like this: [CARD 1] | [CARD 2] | DRAW PILE: 108 | [-----] | [-----] | CARDS DISCARDED: 0 | [-----] | [-----] | BONUSES: 0 |
Now a card in your hand that matches the number of a card in the top row can be played onto the card in the middle, or two cards that when added together equal the number of a card in the top row can be played onto that card in the top row. So for example, if there's a Green 7 on the Top Row, you can match it in two ways: 1. Play any color that has a 7 2. Play 2 cards that ADD UP to 7. Simply math! (3 + 4 = 7) Now keep in mind, that you can only play up to TWO cards for each card on the top row, hence the two blanks further down the column. If there are 4 cards in the Center Row, you can match cards to ALL four of them as long as you have matching cards in your hand, but only a maximum of two per Top Row card. Once the cards are matched, they will be discarded immediately, and our dealer Mari will then pick the next cards from the top of the Draw Pile to replace the cards that just got matched in the Top Row. Here in DOS, there are 2 Special Cards, and they are: First in the middle is the WILD DOS card. The number 2 cards in DOS are represented by these Wild cards, which can take up any color as the player (whose current turn it is to play) sees fit. If a Wild DOS card is turned up from the Draw pile, the player whose turn it is to play can decide what color it should be. In this round, the producers have determined the number of Wild DOS cards in this round. Tonight, there are 10 Wild DOS cards in the deck out of 12, meaning there are 106 cards total. The second special card is the # card. Some say hashtag, others say pound key, and I say the number sign. The Wild # card can represent any number for its own particular color. This can be used to make up any number from 1-10, as the player (whose current turn it is to play) sees fit. If a Wild # card is turned up from the Draw pile, the player whose turn it is to play can decide what number it should be. In the event that you can have no cards to match, you must draw a card from the Draw pile. If you can match it, you can choose to do so. However, even if you cannot match it, you must still discard a card from your hand by placing it in the Top Row. So when it's your turn, you MUST go in this order... TURN ORDER:1. PLAY ONE UNO CARD 2. IF NECESSARY, DRAW ONE UNO CARD 3. PLAY THAT CARD OR PASS 4. MATCH TOP ROW DOS CARDS 5. IF NECESSARY, DRAW ONE DOS CARD 6. PLAY THAT CARD OR ADD ONE DOS CARD ON TOP ROW WARNING! IF YOU ARE SKIPPED OR FORCED TO DRAW CARDS, YOUR TURN ENDS!!!Notice in Red Letters that in UNO, if you are Skipped or if you're forced to draw cards, your turn will end right then and there, so there's some strategy for you all to consider. UNO SCORING:0-9 = 0-9 Points Skip = 20 Points Reverse = 20 Points Draw +2 = 20 Points Wild / Wild Draw Four = 50 Points PRIZES:0-9 = $0-$900 Cash Skip, Reverse, Draw +2 = PRIZE Wild / Wild Draw Four = LUXURY PRIZE DOS SCORING:1-10 = 1-10 Points Wild Dos = 20 Points Wild # = 40 Points PRIZES:1-10 = $100-$1000 Cash Wild Dos = PRIZE Wild # = BIG PRIZE These will come into effect the moment one of you finishes your hand either in UNO or in DOS. When that happens, that game will be done and gameplay moves over to the other game. In the event that time runs out, depending on the game(s) that are still in play, whichever player has the least amount of cards in their hand from that game will be awarded with 100 points, along with the additional points from his own hand, but the total will then be deducted from each of the opponents' hands, and the winner wins the remaining points and 100 times that total in cash. Now with all of that explained, I have one more question for you all, and this one is for control. Here are the choices... "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" "Leave a Light On" "Come to my Window" "Stairway to Heaven"And the question is this. Which was a hit song for Melissa Ethridge?Danny: 100 Patrick: 80 Matt: 31 Magic: 40 (Buzz-In!)And Matt buzzes in! What's your answer?

Come to My Window?

|
|
Post by dad90 on Feb 21, 2020 1:08:36 GMT -5
Come to My Window is the correct title! "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" "Leave a Light On" "Come to my Window" "Stairway to Heaven"(Audience Applause)DANNY -----> PATRICK -----> MATT
34 -----> 300 -----> 200
$3400 -----> $100 -----> -$400 DRAW PILE: 38 LAST CARD PLAYED: [-----] Matt, would you like to go first by taking out the first card, or would you like Danny to go first? There's a possibility that Draw Two or Wild Draw Four or any other Action Card may pop up on the Top Card. Also, the first DOS cards will not be revealed until a numbered card from UNO is revealed. Now... I've mentioned about the Color Matches earlier in DOS. Let me explain about that. We have two kinds of Color Matches. First is a Single Color Match. It's by matching cards by number AND color. This entitles you to discard one card from your hand by placing it in the Center Area at the end of your turn. So, for example, you match a Red 3 with a Red 3 from your hand. Another example would be matching a Red 3 with a Wild Red # card that can take up any number. If you get two or more Single Color Matches on two Center Cards, you can discard those cards from your hand by placing them in the Center Row for all of them. And the second is a Double Color Match. You match cards by placing two cards that add up to the number of the Center Area card, AND are the same in color. So for example, you match a Red 5 with a Red 1 and a Red 4. Another example would be matching a Red 3 with a Red 1 and a Wild DOS card which has the number 2 and can take up any color you want. Getting a Double Color Match entitles you to not only discard one card from your hand by placing it in the Center Area, but it also compels all other opponents to DRAW a card from the Draw pile. (Audience Oohs)If you get two or more Double Color Matches on two or more Center Cards, you can discard those cards from your hand by placing them in the Center Area for all the cards AND everyone else needs to draw two or more cards from the Draw pile depending on how many Double Color Matches you get. (Louder Oohs)Keep this in mind, however. For any cards that you are entitled to discard from your DOS hand onto the Center Area (as a result of getting a Color Match Bonus or simply because you have nothing to match), put them out last, after any cards that should be refilled from the Draw pile are turned up there. In this round, it is quite important to take note of the order of your actions (for each turn), so as to avoid potential confusion. One more thing: Once you have exactly TWO cards in your DOS hand, remember to yell out... Audience: DOS!Because if your opponent does that before you, you MUST draw two cards from the pile, but take note that you only draw the two cards at the END of your turn (when you are just about to end it). So in UNO, you must say "UNO!" when you have ONE card left, and in DOS, you must say "DOS!" when you exactly have TWO cards left, and even if you have another card to play with, you MUST say that magic word before potentially playing your final card(s) in order to win. So Matt, are you going to take the first card from the UNO Draw Pile to play first, or would you like Danny to go first?

I would like to go first.

And the top card that you are pulling out from the deck is... DRAW PILE: 37 LAST CARD PLAYED: [2] DANNY -----> PATRICK -----> MATT
34 -----> 300 -----> 200
$3400 -----> $100 -----> -$400 a Green 2, and now Mari, what are the first two cards to pull from the DOS deck? (5) | (10) | DRAW PILE: 83 | [-----] | [-----] | CARDS DISCARDED: 0 | [-----] | [-----] | BONUSES: 0 |
A Green 5 and a Red 10. Now Matt, first select one of your UNO cards to play or pick a card from the UNO deck. If you pick a card from the UNO deck, you'll then tell me whether you want to play that card or pass. And then, try and match the DOS cards shown in the Center Area or pick a card from the DOS deck.
