DK: And second, Sunken Treasure is right! You got it! (Cheers and Applause)And that marks the end of our first game of 2020, and what a fantastic game that was! $18,700 for you, William, and that brings us to our final standings for tonight's game, which goes as follows.... Nels finishes with $2,500, while William makes an unbelievable comeback from that Super Bankrupt earlier with $38,692 in cash and prizes. Those are great scores, you guys, and to you William, a very valuable effort of catching up, but unfortunately, it's not going to be enough to beat our new champion, Thomas Whatchama with $39,232! (Audience Cheers and Applause)Thomas, we're going to get back to you in just a moment. But first, we have to say good-bye to Nels and our defeated champion, William. Nels, unfortunately, the Wheel was not nice to you all night, and when you did land on some good amounts, you couldn't cash them in. However, I'm very glad that you got that 2nd Toss-Up earlier and won $2,500. Thanks for playing and enjoy your winnings. Nels Snesrud, everyone! (Audience Applause)William Low, thanks for giving us such an almost dramatic ending. In fact, it was a $540 difference. That's how close it was. I thought that you would go over the top and beat Thomas, but sadly, time ran out, and my Final Spin wasn't enough to do it. However, you are certainly not empty-handed. You've won a trip to Jamaica, and $31,050 in cash tonight, and we're going to add all of that, along with the $46,362 in cash and prizes that you've won previously, meaning that you are leaving us with a grand total of... $85,054$85,054! (Audience Cheers and Applause)And that's not all! Both William and Nels will also be taking home these great consolation prizes that Doc Holliday is going to tell us all about right now! Doc: For tonight's departing players, they will receive a Blu-Ray player. This Sony 4K Ultra Blu-Ray player can play all your favorite CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, and has a digital timer display as well as its own remote.
And you can make your own Hollywood-quality movies with this Sony AX33 4K Handycam, which has an Exmor R CMOS sensor and its own remote.
And all contestants and audience members will receive a copy of America's Greatest Game Shows: Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy! for the Nintendo Switch. In stores now. Rated E for Everyone!
We now have a new champion by the name of Thomas Whatchama.
And thanks to the Star Bonus earlier, you now have an opportunity to play for 2 bonus envelopes.
And if luck shines down on you, you could win the top 2 amounts of $100,000 and the Golden Bonus of $250,000! But there's one ghost guardian who's determined to not let that happen...
...and that would be her, the legendary Hachishaku-Sama. Thomas, prepare yourself. The Bonus Round of "Go For The Gold" is next!

I just want to say a couple of things. If it wasn’t for that Super Bankrupt, I would have won. And I was gonna play strategic. I was gonna pass, pray Nels slips up and I get a chance to get the last consonant and solve it, but I couldn’t take that risk as I was afraid Nels would get it before me even though I knew the answer.

DK: Ladies and gentlemen, this is Dayo Kayode. I want to dedicate this show and this Bonus Round to the Black Mamba himself, Kobe Bryant, as he and one of his daughters Gianna, tragically died in a helicopter crash.
Kobe Bryant was a king in Los Angeles and one of the greatest athletes the world has ever known. He thrilled Los Angelenos for 20 seasons at the Staples Center, was an 18-time NBA All Star, earned five NBA championships, was twice named the MVP of the NBA Finals, and earned the NBA’s MVP award. Fans around the world marveled at his skills on the court season after season. He was truly spectacular to watch. He was our champion, a living legend, and an inspiration to countless fans and aspiring athletes around the world. His loss is felt by millions of grieving fans who are in shock and disbelief by the tragic passing of such a prolific athlete, devoted husband, and loving father. My heart goes out to his wife, Vanessa, surviving children, relatives, teammates, and friends who are in mourning. I also extend my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of all the victims who were onboard the helicopter.
Los Angeles is mourning the loss of one of our most beloved legends and icons. Though Kobe Bryant is no longer with us, our city will never forget what he meant to us, and we will keep his legacy alive forever.
We will miss you, Kobe Bryant. Rest in peace.

Doc: And now, our new champion is ready to battle against the Ghost Guardian for Big Money in the Bonus Round of "Go For The Gold"!DK: I thank you, Doc for welcoming us back to Wheel Of Fortune: Diamond Deluxe, and now, it's the moment you've all been waiting for: It's our Bonus Round called "Go For The Gold", and I'm here with our new champion, Thomas Whatchama, who managed to barely hang on to the lead by $540, and won the game with $39,232 in cash and prizes! (Audience Applause)And now, here you are in the Bonus Round of "Go For The Gold". Also, you are trending in deep water, because... ....this is now the territory of the Legendary Hachishaku-Sama, the 8-foot tall Ghost Guardian. And you have to beat her, or you WILL face the consequences. Now, before we move on any further, I want to clear out a few things about the "Star Bonus" token. Since Thomas was able to solve the Star Bonus Puzzle earlier in the game, and won the Main Game, he now has the right to play for 2 Bonus Envelopes. Consequentially, you did go BANKRUPT later on in the game, and had not that happened, and you would've gone to our special Bonus Round, where you would have to face The Gauntlet of Villains for a chance to win up to $500,000. Not only that, but had you not solved the Star Bonus puzzle, you would've still held on to the Star Bonus token and had to avoid those BANKRUPTs throughout the rest of the game and win the game in order to play for 2 Bonus Envelopes. Now that we got all of that cleared up, we can now proceed to the Bonus Round, and boy, have we got some good stuff on our Bonus Wheel tonight, and it's now up-to-code for the new year and the new decade, and now there's a possibility that you could win... Doc: A brand new car!(Audience Cheers and Applause)Voted as the 2019 North American Car of the Year™ and #1 Ranked Compact Premium Car in Initial Quality, the 2020 Genesis G70 sedan is a perfect specimen. Delicately crafted and elegant, the G70 is equal parts dynamic, sporty, and mind-blowingly sophisticated. Comes with both standard equipment and the Elite Package, it's priced at over $45,000. It's the Genesis G70!DK: There's another new car on the Wheel as well, or you can even win as much as $100,000 or $250,000! (Audience Cheers and Applause)However, by winning the Star Bonus puzzle earlier, there's a possibility that you could win both! Here's the Bonus Wheel that'll make it all happen! Take your first spin.

(Thomas Spins the Wheel)Here's the rare second and final spin of the Bonus Wheel... And it shall be the opposite of that, or the G in BIG. Pick that up for me, please. (Ding) (Thomas gives the envelope to DK) And now that I got the two envelopes, let's proceed to the puzzle. (William and I head over to 2 stars a few feet away from the Main Wheel) Right over there. (We stand on the designated stars) Now then, we have bought another classic element from Wheel of Fortune 2000, the kids version of Wheel from 1996-1997. We have 3 categories that we've shown to Thomas during the break, and before the show began, our producers have chosen one of them to be our special " Super Bonus" category. If Thomas chose that and solves the Bonus Puzzle, then he will not only win whatever is inside these 2 envelopes, but also a special "Showcase" full of fabulous prizes. For tonight, Thomas had to choose one of these 3 categories: LIVING THING ON THE MAP RHYME TIME Thomas has made his decision during the break, and he has chosen On The Map. Let's load up the puzzle. And now, let's see if R, S, T, L, N, or E are up there in the puzzle. Ghosties, what do you say? (Ding)Only one N... Well, you're obviously going to need a lot more information than that, so let's have 3 consonants and 1 vowel.

Well, you're going to some help... (Ding) (Ding) (Ding) (Ding)The question is will it be enough? Now then Thomas, you have 48 hours and 5 attempts at solving this puzzle. You can think of many things as you want, but keep in mind, that you must come up with an official answer, with the Golden Rule of Solving implied within the time limit. If the time expires, or if you run out of guesses, whichever comes first, you'll lose. Thomas, your 48 hours starts now. Good luck.

DK:Yes, ladies and gentlemen. That was our very own Vanna White, who hosted serveral Wheel of Fortune games back in the day, and then actually hosted the real version in December of last year. The reason why is because Pat Sajak had to do some serious surgery, and here's what he had to say. And here is his return. Blinky: Wow, that was awesome! Pinky: Yeah, Pat never had a standing ovation before. DK: Hey! Better late than never. In fact, how well did you think Vanna did? Blinky: 7 out of 10. Pinky: 8 out of 10. Inky: 6.5 out of 10. Clyde: 7.5 out of 10. Sue: 8. Ai: 8.5 Tinky: 7.5. Jinky: 8. Misey: 6. Orson: 9. Skratcher: 9. Lurita: 7. Kakome: 5.5. Huey and Bluey: 6.5. Oakely: 8.6. DK: 8.6.?! Dwinky: 9.2. DK: 9.2?! Bubs: A solitary 8. DK: Well, I give it a perfect 10! Why? Because Vanna "done" this before, and she did really well while Pat was in surgery. But of course, she's much better at taking care of the letters at the puzzleboard. We're glad to have Pat back, but here's what I'm not so glad about: Alex Trebek retiring from Jeopardy due to his fight with cancer. But of course, the most shocking sad news of all, so far in 2020, is the sudden death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, along with his daughter Gianna. He certainly made a BIG impact around the world, and just like Michael Jackson, another legend was gone too soon. So at this moment, ladies and gentlemen, let's all take a moment of silence in remembering Kobe Bryant. (24 seconds of silence pass) Thank you, everyone. That has given me a harsh reality check: Life is fragile. Why do we plan so far ahead? In an instant, those thoughts can be taken from us with the onset of disease or an accident which alters our life trajectory. One moment can alter a lifetime of planning and rob us of those things we want the most. Life is precious and incredibly fragile, hauntingly this only becomes apparent when something tragic occurs, but we assume we are indestructible. We assume our longevity is absolute, like we have a divine right to live to the age of 89 and experience all life’s joy and wonder. The sad reality is we don’t, and we only realise it when it is too late. Here’s the deal: we are all terminal. We are all going to die at some undetermined point in the future, but that will is currently an inevitability tied to human mortality. The fact you have cancer or are in an accident only means it happens sooner. The reality of life is if you don’t prioritize what matters to you now you may never achieve it or have the opportunity to experience the things you want. The same is true of accepting what we have as the only thing we deserve. If we’re not happy, why do we willingly sacrifice years of our lives in hope of salvaging things? We live by the mantra that things will get better or make the most of a bad situation but we die by the sword of them. Changing people is futile. We are each who we are and so is everyone else. To try to change people ignores the reality of human psychology. Even faced with the thing we want least in the world, we won’t sacrifice what we currently have to get it. We are reckless with our time in the present pacified by the assumption that our future will be enriched by the things we hope to do. The flaws in this thinking startles me each day, but I’m part of it, I'll admit. I waste so much time it’s embarrassing, and my parents know it. Seriously, take a day to write down the things you do in every minute; I dare you to be completely honest. Record every single tiny detail and I promise you that it will change your life. With that, there are a couple more things to say before we go. First of all, our next episode is our 10th episode! Who would never have thought that we would come this far? In fact, for our next episode... the Jackpot Wedge will play a very important role to whoever makes it to the Bonus Round. I'll tell you more details about that when we meet next time, but in the meantime, let's take a look at our Tournament of Champions Leaderboard!
