As mentioned in the announcements tab, this will be the last episode of Whammy! I will host before I put it on hiatus. I’m doing this to prepare for the shopping formats of Wheel of Fortune’s second run. Once the 1986 episode of that wraps up, Whammy! will return.

Among all those squares right now are cash, prizes and lots of surprises. One of those is the Big Bank. The way it works is if you hit that, you can claim its contents by answering a question. We put $5,000 to start...
We might put more inside but we won't get to that just yet. Also on the board are Top Keys. If you can hit one, you'll be halfway there to driving out of the studio in this: Gary?

That's how he plays. He takes over certain spots on our board, and if you hit him he'll rob you blind of all your cash and prizes. Whatever he takes you can get back from him by hitting either Big Bank square. Rocks, at this point of the game, I have to ask whether you want to press your luck or freeze. Remember, if you hit one Whammy in this round, you must spin again on your next turn. Two Whammies and your participation in this round ends. What do you want to do, Rocks?
