ITALY is the other country and you're right... (DING DING DING DING) That means that the SPRINT ROUND is over and when we look at the scores... NELS and SERGIO are going to the FINAL SHOWDOWN....Congratulations.... MATTHEW, my friend, I know that you did the best you could, but you had two worthy opponents who beat you to the buzzer. You are not leaving us empty handed; you gained 10 points during the SPRINT ROUND and, at $25 per point, that's... $250 and some nice consolation prizes...A big round of applause please for MATTHEW, everyone.

Hello and welcome back to THE BIG SHOWDOWN. We're now in the FINAL SHOWDOWN with NELS and SERGIO. Once again, this is a very special game for NELS because a car as well as a possible $50,000 is in stake. Before we get unto it, let's do some accounting: NELS gained 12 points during the SPRINT ROUND and, at $25 per point, that's an extra $300 for a total of $500; SERGIO gained two payoff points at $100 apiece and gained 25 points during the SPRINT ROUND and, at $25 per point, that's $650 for a total of $850 bringing his total to $1,575. Here's how the FINAL SHOWDOWN works: The Payoff Point is 7 and we play it the way we have been playing it, but this time, every time a question is asked the catergories will change and all twelve categories from all four rounds are to be played. The one who gets seven points wins the game, becomes the champ and will go on to the GOLDEN DICE bonus round for a chance at $25,000 in cash. (OOHS AND AWWS) First off, let's see what our payoff cash bonus will be: (ELECTRONIC NOISES AND NUMBERS FLASHING) $850. SERGIO, since you had the highest score going into the FINAL SHOWDOWN, so you pick the first category from the first three and they are: THE 1990's, GOLF or THE SOLAR SYSTEM. Which one?
