Stop on a trip to... You're gonna like this, it's valued at $3,130!
*cheers and applause* Justin, that means you really need to make something happen if you want to catch up. You now trail by $2,641 so now you need a good hit to keep pace. Are you going to press or freeze? (Board update: Arcade game replaces Fort Mojave)

Stop on
And that's valued at $2,619!
*cheers and applause*
To come within $22 of the lead, that's tough. It will be even tougher because now we have to add more Whammies to the board. (Board updates: Whammies replace $600, Move 1 Space, $700 and $1,500; and Telescope replaces office equipment)
Steven, it's your turn again. You're $5,700 behind both of your opponents if it influences your decision. Press your luck or freeze?

Stop on...
*cheers and applause*
That's really gonna help. You know, the way you three are calling for prizes you're all bound to get you you want eventually I think. JC, you have a $22 lead. If you freeze, you risk Justin overtaking you. If you press your luck, you risk hitting a Whammy. You control your own destiny so what's it gonna be?

This is a really tough one. Um...........
(audience shouts suggestions)
I don’t want a whammy, but I don’t want to lose that trip either. I think, for right now, I will freeze.

You got it. Justin, your situation is different. Any good spin and you can overtake an idle JC. No Top Key has been hit yet so that's a possibility to consider as well. Otherwise if you fear the Whammy, you too can freeze. How about it, Justin?

*cheers and applause*
How about that? You did exactly what you needed to do! You've taken the lead as we put more Whammies on the board.
(Board updates: Whammies replace $900, Go Back 3 Spaces, Advance 3 Spaces and Pick A Prize)
That means we go back to Steven. You're in third place but you're still very much in this. However, if you hit one more Whammy, you'll be knocked out of play for this round. Do you want to press again or freeze?

Stop on... Those board games are worth $560.
*cheers and applause* We skip over a frozen JC and go to Justin. Justin, you have a good lead with one opponent still playing. Do you want to press again or freeze? (Board update: Video games replace board games)

*applause*
With a comfortable lead, Justin is going to freeze.
It's now Steven against the Big Board. We have to load it with a few more Whammies.
(Board updates: Whammies replace $1,100, $1,250, $1,000 and $800; and board games replace coffee table)
That's what you're looking at right now, Steven, if you choose to Press Your Luck. You're over $3,000 behind third place. What do you want to do?

Okay, that will end this round.
The thought of entering the final round scoreless with two Whammies won't fly for Steven. So far, Justin's in the lead with $7,153, JC has $6,375 and Steven's got $3,215 along with one Whammy. We're going to play some more Whammy when we come back. Stick around!

And welcome back to Whammy! Now that we've seen our three contestants play, we'll get to know them a bit more. We go from the order in which they played, starting with Steven Solsak. You're married as we know. How long have you been married?

I’ve been doing good. Just been traveling a lot with my job. I was actually on the road back home when I got a call from the producers asking me to come back. I’m glad to be able to get a second chance, Kevin. So hopefully the whammies will show mercy and give me a win today.

Thank you, you’re doing pretty good right now I might add. Finally on the end there is Justin Rhea from Knoxville, Tennessee. What do you do in Knoxville?

Post by gameshowfan1987 on Apr 22, 2019 17:15:00 GMT -5
Well Kevin, Knoxville is actually the next biggest city to where I live. I live in a small town called rocky top, and I take care of my mother. My father passed away 4 years ago last month and it's just me and her now.

It's great that you're close to your family. Send your mother my best wishes. Let's get back to business.
This is the point of the game where you have to earn your spins. I will ask you a series of five questions. Each correct answer gets you spins. If you're feeling confident, you can hit the plunger in front of you and try for three spins by answering the question outright. At that point, your answer will be part of a three-part multiple choice for your opponents to answer for one spin. This is also contingent on luck and wits if you want to maximize your spins. First question is as follows. Good luck to the three of you:
"Someone in England invites you to play a round of 'Noughts and crosses'. What does that mean?"
(To activate your buzzers, PM me a buzz code from 1-100. If you wish to pass, PM the word "Pass" to me.)

I didn't think the Brits could be that specific!
*laughter*
We'll just simplify the choices for JC and Justin for one spin apiece. "Naughts and crosses" is that...
TIC TAC TOE
HANGMAN
CHECKERS
We'll start with JC.
