Well, you could buy more cars if you make it to the all-cash main event for at least $1,000,000. You're 2/5 of the way right now. Matt's going to try and stop those winning ways. Matt, please tell us about yourself.

Great to have you here from Iowa. Players, good luck to you both. Please have a look at our game board. Those are the lucky numbers in play for every game in our match -- 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. Attached to five of those numbers are cash awards. Anytime your dice roll totals one of those lucky numbers, you seize control of that cash award. However, the remaining number is the luckiest number of all. It's our winning point. And the winning point in the first game we're about to play is... (drum beats; cha-ching)...the highest number in play -- the 10. Roll a 10 in any combination and you'll win the cash you've seized *plus* the money in the pot. At the start of every game, we deposit $1500 in the pot. It could go up by as much as $500 on a particular roll. More on that later. Now there's a reason 7 is not among this show's lucky numbers. In any game, any roll of 7 means this. (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio)That means turbulence as we enter the danger zone. The complexion of the game will change from there. More about *that* later. Now -- to get control of the dice, you must correctly answer a toss-up question. If you anticipate and you're wrong, the roll automatically goes to your opponent. So -- hands on the buzzers, please -- because here comes your first question of the match. True or false: A fireman in Topeka, Kansas, tried to sell one of the city's fire trucks on eBay. 95 koopakid17 57 mringgenberg 80 random.org (Kevin buzzes in) Kevin?

That's strange alright -- but we made that up. It's false. Matt, that means the dice are yours. If you can roll a 10 right now, you quickly win the first game and $1500. (Matt rolls)(audience groans) (danger zone cue; lights briefly flicker in certain parts of studio)Ouch! Danger zone right out of the gate. Couldn't have wished for worse. Well -- next roll of 7 means victory for your opponent. And because of that, for the rest of this game, if you win a question, you'll have the option to roll or pass the dice. That first 7 came so quickly but I don't think it will happen again so soon. I'll roll.

(audience cheers)Champ takes matters into his own hands, literally. (Kevin rolls) (one cube takes lucky bounce for champion; scattered woahs) Almost disaster -- but that roll of 6 gives you control of... (ding)...$300. Cash awards in red indicate the number's being controlled by Kevin. Matt, when you control a number, your awards will light up in blue. On to another question. Yes or no: Do cooties really exist? 23 koopakid17 37 mringgenberg 99 random.org (Matt buzzes in) Matt?

All right, Matt. You got us in this mess. But you can get out of it with a 10. (Matt rolls)Half a 10 -- a 5. That's good for... (ding)...$375. On we go to another query. Brown, Green or Lavender. Passing the dice to the champ. All right, Kevin. Let's see what you do with the dice. (Kevin rolls) (chimes; audience cheers) Hey now! A 2. Players, rolls of 12, 11, 3 and this 2 are tough to make. So those are the wild rolls in our game. Anytime a wild roll appears, we add $500 to the pot. (drum beats; cha-ching)And we've done just that. Pot's up to $2000 just like that. Wild roll also gives a player an extra roll of the dice. So, Kevin, please roll again. (Kevin rolls)And the roll is a 5. Bad news for you, Matt. Good news for you, Kevin. Kevin *had* control of the 5. (ding)But now it goes to Kevin's control. Kevin will keep $675 in total *plus* the pot for a winning move. Let's see if someone banks $2000 or more on this question. The Chicago Blackhawks, the Detroit Red Wings or the New York Rangers. Challenger's thrown the gauntlet again. Kevin, can you avoid danger again? (Kevin rolls)(lucky bounce; scattered woahs) Just did avoid disaster. Got an 8 for... (ding)...$300. The champ *could* bank a lot of money in this game. We'll find out who wins it -- after this. (commercial cue plays; audience applauds)

(ASB cue plays; audience applauds) Welcome back to Lucky Numbers. Opening game of this match between Kevin, our returning champion, and Matt, our challenger, continues now. No one's banked money as of yet. We quickly got into the danger zone -- and then Kevin got control of three of the lucky numbers. Ultimately, we're looking for a roll of a 10.
