Me: Thank you, Gary! Hello, everybody! Welcome to another fun-filled, action-packed episode of Whammy! Audience, let's say hi to our three players ready to take on the Whammy!
*cheers and applause*
Me: Now, this is all-new so we have bigger cash, more prizes and that adds up to a lot of money to give away. We start by putting $1,000 into each of your banks. Here you go!
In this first round of play, you get to add to that with our Big Board. Take a look at what's on it.
We have cash and prizes from $300 to upwards of $3,000. Also up there are two Big Bank squares. You'll get the chance to outfox the Whammy by landing there and answering a pop quiz question. The Whammy will make his first deposit of $5,000 right now.
That's how confident he feels. We may add more to that, but I'll explain how that works later. Also, take a look near the bottom where we have key halves. Specifically, those are Top Keys. If you complete your key in Round 2, then you could win this!
Gary: It's a new car! This Mini Cooper 4-door Hardtop Classic is fun to run and stylish because it's built for you in mind. It comes with standard features including TwinPower Turbo Engines, automatic transmission, media system, rear view camera and 15-inch alloy wheels: a great prize worth $24,300!
I would love to give that car away. Maybe one of you could do it today? We let the three of you play this first round without Whammies to let you get a feel of the game. Just before the show, we drew numbers to see who would spin first. Wrong show, but I couldn't resist the reference.
