And a good buy there; six O's.

$50 isn't enough for another vowel, Anthony.

May I please solve? ONE-ROOM SCHOOLHOUSE

Post by koopakid17 on Jan 20, 2019 17:40:30 GMT -5
You are right!
*'07 puzzle solve cue*
You solved that for just $50 but we're gonna give you ten times that since $500's our house minimum.
That will pad your lead a bit. You have $12,505 now.
But five rounds again won't be enough. We'll play some more with this next puzzle. Here it comes...
*puzzle reveal chimes*
*out of time bells*
The category is Show Biz. This round will be decided by the amount I spin when the wheel stops.
*spins the wheel*
We add $500, as always, and that will be the amount for consonants with vowels worth nothing...
$600
Not bad, $1,100 a piece. Anthony, I'll ask you to make the first letter selection.

An odd choice but a good one: two C's.
You have $2,200 and the option to solve or pass.

CURTAIN CALL

Post by koopakid17 on Jan 20, 2019 20:53:09 GMT -5
Did you need any more time? *'07 puzzle solve cue*
That's gonna be a big curtain call for you worth $2,200. You're our big winner with $14,705, including that trip to San Francisco! Excuse me for just a second... Matt, I thought you were gonna pull it off. You came that close and then Anthony pulled ahead. You still have $10,500, and that's a nice payday any day. Steven, the luck just wasn't with you today aside from solving that first Toss-Up. $500 today, but let's not forget you were a winner on our last game. You leave us here with $8,769.
Anthony, you did it. A great run on the Express and you won a little bit more in the later rounds. Come back and see what he could win in the Bonus Round after this. Don't go away!

Before we went to commercial, I gave Anthony the wrong total going into the Bonus Round. I said he had $13,705, he actually has $14,705.
*cheers and applause*
We didn't want to shortchange him that thousand. I make it a point that your scoreboard operators are yearly temps, only.
*laughter*
Regardless, you're here, Anthony. $14,705 to your credit. Who do you have in the audience?

Welcome to the show, Rarity. Anthony, let's win something nice for her. Give that wheel a good spin!
*Anthony spins the wheel* We've got cash from ten G's to twenty-five. Perhaps, you could win a trip to Rio, a Caribbean Cruise or a Ford Fiesta... -S -P← -I Okay, could I have the envelope from that P? *ding* -S P← -I Thank you. I'm going to lead you over to this point on the stage. Specifically, you'll stop on this mark and take a look at today's puzzle which is a Thing. Vanna, you do that so well but you might have competition from Rarity. *laughter* RSTLNE on the board... *bong* *bong* We hope that won't be it. You now get to give us three more consonants and one more vowel.

Okay, you're not going to get a whole lot with that extra package but you never know.
*bong* *bong* *bong*
All right, it's a Thing. Remember that. Five guesses at the puzzle, talk it out, good luck.
(If you'd like to give up, don't hesitate to tell me.)

*buzz-buzz*
You know, this isn't the first time a couple of letters at the beginning wound up being the hardest...
*oohs from audience*
Too bad we can't give you 90% of what's in here. I'll take a look...
$10,000
Hmm, we can't seem to give this ten grand away. But what you do have is $14,705 cash and prizes! Plus, you get to play again and maybe come back to Bonus Land on our next show. For now, we'll take a short break.

Our next show is going to be a big one. Here's why: we're celebrating 40 years of Wheel of Fortune for our 2015 episode. We'll offer more cash and bigger prizes than what we have normally.
Vanna: So, is it going to be a Big Money special?
Me: You could say that. Maybe we'll have someone hold a giant check on stage. The real show has them!
*laughter*
Join us then, won't you? Tell your friends, we've got a great show lined up next time. So long, all!
Vanna: Bye-bye!
