Kevin...? You're right! [APPLAUSE, DING]You now have 500 bucks. You need a 7 for a tie game. A 9 for a tie game and the Any 21 pot of $3,500. Jennifer, please reveal Kevin's next card. *Jennifer reveals card* Jennifer: It's a 7! Tony: 19 beats 17... and we have a tie game! [WINNING BELL SOUNDS, WIN CUE, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]And coming up after the break, we will have ourselves a good old-fashioned tie breaker... where the winner will have a chance at defeating our card dealer Jennifer one final time in Beat The Dealer. This all important tie breaker will decide it all when Gambit returns after we do a little business for America. Stick around, we'll be right back. *back to studio* [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Welcome back to the Gambit season finale. After two rounds of play, we have a tie game. Our champion Frank and his challenger Kevin are tied at $1,000 all. In our final round, each correct answer is now worth $200... and the player closer to 21 wins an additional $1,000 and the right to play our Beat The Dealer finale for $1 million. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Let's take a look at the big money board on my podium. [CASH REGISTER RINGS]The Any 21 pot is now worth $4,000 while the Blackjack Bonus is now worth $15,000! [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Let's turn our final attention to J.Love as she reveals the first card up for grabs. Jennifer... Jennifer: Our first card in round 3, the final round, is a 9. Tony: Good luck to both of you. Here's the first question. A German potato bread, an Austrian dish made with a veal cutlet, or a Swedish pastry made with a fruit filling-- What is the real meaning of the name of hot dog chain "Wienerschnitzel?"

You're right! [APPLAUSE, DING]Although you're tied with Kevin at $1,200 all, you have a decision. Do you want to keep the card or pass it to Kevin?

I'll take the next card.

Frank is keeping it. Jennifer, please reveal Frank's next card. Jennifer: Frank's next card is an Ace! [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Tony: Frank now has a total of 10... or a possible 20. Before I read the next question, Frank... you have a decision to make-- Do you want to continue the round or freeze?

Freeze!

Post by tmann3x on Jan 27, 2019 19:27:45 GMT -5
[CHEERS, APPLAUSE]The champ is freezing on his 20. Kevin... there are no ties in Gambit. The only way for you to beat Frank's hand is a 21 or blackjack. You must answer each and every question right in order for you to stay in the game. If at any event that your answer is incorrect, Frank will be playing the final Beat The Dealer. Here is your next question. 11, 12, or 13-- How many players does each team have on the pitch when a soccer match starts?

Kevin... ...the correct answer is 11. So that means Frank is still our champion!!!! [WINNING BELL SOUNDS, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Frank, you'll be playing the final Beat The Dealer in just a few minutes. Kevin, you had played a great game. Care to share any final words?

I assume that you're ready. During the commercial break, the guys at RANDOM.ORG have sent our card dealer Jennifer a deck of 52 gigantic sized playing cards that were shuffled, cut, and sealed. Right now, Jennifer is gonna break the seal one final time and reveal one card face up and the other face down. Jennifer's face up card is a 3. We'll reveal the face down card later in this round. BTW, due to the electrical problems with the score display, our producers have decided to show the card total to the folks at home watching this. Once it gets fixed, we'll let you know at once. Let's open up the Gambit Board. Jenn's first card is a 6. She'll reveal the face down card later on. Right now, let's open up the Gambit Board.
Inside each of the 21 doors, we have cash, prizes, and surprises. Inside one of them is the instant win card... and other is that dreaded BUSTED space. And in addition to these spaces, we also have the Take 2 card where you select one prize and an extra selection for one deal of the card.... the Stop or Go where you either keep the cash or double the amount by matching two exact suits, the SWAP card, where you get the chance to swap a prize by selecting a different number (after winning the game), and the Gambit Galaxy. This special space means that you'll be playing the Gambit Galaxy for a chance to win up to $50,000. [CHEERS, APPLAUSE]Since the big money board on my podium isn't working, the show must go on. If you get a combination of at least 3 cards, your charity and Frank will each win the Any 21 pot worth $25,000. [APPLAUSE]If you get either an Ace and a 10 or face card... or either an Ace, 10, or face card and an instant win dollar sign, you'll win the Blackjack Bonus worth $100,000! [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]But... if you find a dollar sign on your very first selection, we'll give you $1 million! [WILD CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]And since Frank had won the match, we'll give you 3 Gambit Power Chips. Two for winning the game and one more for retaining his championship crown. Use it wisely. Whenever you're ready, please select a number.
