Time for my version of Deal or No Deal to kick off. Hunter has agreed to be my banker for this series. Although Anthony Long expressed interest, he’ll have to wait until episode 2 as I have already promised a spot to Andrew St. Clair. Once Andrew checks in, we will begin.

Let’s get this underway. (DOND logo and music come on, I walk out on stage to tremendous applause) Welcome to the return of Deal or No Deal. This, of course, is a game based on luck. If you have a lot of good luck, you could win yourself a million dollars. And here come those famous cases. (Video board plays cutscene of all 26 cases slowly coming up onto the monitor) With Christmas approaching, we’d love to have a millionaire on our first show and the man that will be trying to do it is mister Andrew St. Clair! (Andrew comes onto the stage, I shake his hand) Welcome to our show, sir. Tell the folks a little about yourself.

Thank you. I'm Andrew St. Clair from Winder, GA. I'm 42 years old. I'm a volunteer with a local meals on wheels organization that delivers food to seniors as well as a member of two bands where I play the drum set. I like watching game shows, playing game shows, and looking forward to hopefully win a lot of money here.

Well let's hope you can take home a lot of money. Now in this game, we have 26 cases and each of them holds a different amount of money. The amounts go from as low as one penny all the way up to the big million dollar prize. All the amounts were shuffled before the show, so I have no idea what's in each of those cases. Andrew, your task right now is to pick out one case out of 26 to keep for the duration of the game.

I choose case #17.

Case 17 it is. (I take case 17 from the video board and put it beside Andrew) Let’s hope you have that million dollars inside. Now before you start picking cases, I want to tell you about a new element that we’ve added to the show. For each round that you get through without knocking out the million, you’ll get an extra $15,000 in guaranteed money. That certainly sounds exciting, but a million dollar win would be even more exciting. Pick six cases to start off in this first round. (Give all case picks at once to save time)

12 is his first choice, and inside 12 is: $0.01! That's an excellent start to the game! 25 was his next choice, and in there is: $300,000. Not good, but at least it's not the million. next was number 2, and in 2 is: $75,000. Not good, but not terrible either. Next pick is 18, and in there is: $300. Fifth case was number 9, and in there is: $25! Very good, sir. One case left, which is 15. In 15 is: $75! That's a nice end to the round. Let's see what Hunter has to offer you.

Andrew says no deal to $38,000. All right, we now open five cases starting with 14. In 14 is: $1! Another great start for you, Andrew. Number eight was the next pick, and in there is: $5,000. Pretty good. In 22 is: $100,000. Number 10 contains: $500. Very good choice. Now Andrew, I skipped 17 because you already have that as your case. Please pick another one. Cases picked: 12,25,2,18,9,15,14,8,22,10

(Back to the studio) Welcome back to Deal or No Deal. Andrew's done well so far and now we will continue with the selection of his next four cases. Andrew: 1 Me: 1 is his choice to start the round. Inside 1 is...................$200,000. Let's see if the next pick is better. Andrew: 23 Me: 23 next. In there is......................$10,000. That's better, but maybe we can improve on that with............. Andrew: 13 Me: 13 is his next one. 13 holds........................$1,000! That's more like it! One more to go. Andrew: 19 Me: 19 is the last one for this round before we hear from Hunter. In 19 is....................$5! That was a very good round, sir. Let's hear from Hunter.

No deal says Andrew. Three cases to open, and number 3 is the first one. Inside 3 is........................$750,000. Ouch, not what we wanted to see. Number 20 is next, and number 20 has............$50,000. Well, that's better. Finally, number 16. Behind there is: $500,000. Not too good of a round, but let's see what Hunter says.

A slight drop on the offer, but it's still a nice chunk of change. Bear in mind, you still have your counteroffer in tow.
$143,000
