I'm going to give H2 a break and, with Frank's blessing, launch a syndicated version of that other game of X's and O's. The format remains the same as Frank's version, but with a much bigger budget. $250 per outer box, $500 for the center box. Losing challengers receive the face value of each box captured as a consolation prize (plus $500 for each tie game, if applicable). The bonus game will reintroduce prize packages, and $2,000 wins the bonus. An instant TIC-TAC on the first two picks earns the prizes and $10,000 in cash, but no Super Bonus game (though there may be a Dragon Finder game). With that said, I need two players to get this pilot rolling!

Nels, you're in. As for Anthony, I'm sorry, but someone has already expressed interest in playing. Perhaps you can play in the second match. Show begins as soon as I get the categories for the first match.

Alright, I'm ready, our players are ready, the dragon's ready, so let's do it! Deborah Norville: Watch Inside Edition weeknights at 7:30 only on WOWK-TV 13. ------------------------------------------------------------------- (opening theme)Jim Thornton: From Hollywood, it's everybody's game of strategy, knowledge and fun, it's Tic Tac Dough!(cheers and applause)And now, here's our host, Hunter Dillon!(cheers and applause as I walk out onstage)Thank you, Jim Thornton. Hello everybody, and welcome to Tic Tac Dough, a game you and I have loved for so many years. It's a game where two contestants answer questions in a bid to score Tic Tac Dough and win lots of cash and fantastic prizes. Of course, we can't play unless we have two players, so Jim, let's meet our first two players. (contestants' intro)Jim: Our first contestant loves to collect and play retro video games. From Toronto, Ontario, Canada, meet Mark Liotta!(cheers and applause)And our second contestant works for a national retail shopping chain. From Minneapolis, MN, here's Nels Snesrud!(end of contestants' intro)(cheers and applause)Mark, Nels, welcome to you both. Now Mark, Jim says you collect and play retro video games. What are some of your favorites?

Well, my top favorites would have to be the Mario Kart and Mario Party games as well as the Pokemon games.

You have a favorite Pokemon, someone who's very strong whenever you go to battle?

Oh yes. That would be none other than Pikachu. (Pikachu is watching from the audience and starts to get a Thunderbolt ready) No Pikachu! Hunter needs this set for his game.

Yes, Pikachu. we don't want the Dragon coming out before he needs to. (laughter)Anyway, good luck to you today, Mark. Nels Snesrud, you work for a national retail chain, it says here. Care to tell us who you work for, or would that be giving them a free plug?

Well let's hope this game is not as hectic. Good luck, Nels. Let's play Tic Tac Dough. The aim of the game is to answer questions to place your symbol into one of the nine boxes on the board. A correct answer in an outside box adds $250 to the pot. The center box is more important, so it's a more difficult question, but it adds $500 to the pot.The first player to get three of their symbol either horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins the game, all the money in the pot, and gets a chance to play the bonus game. Now, if everyone's ready, here are the nine categories for this first game of Tic Tac Dough: (categories reveal)We have Comedians, Elvis, Chemistry, Words Words Words, Europe, Boxing, American Indians, TV Crime Shows and Israel. Since this is our very first Tic Tac Dough match, we tossed a coin to determine who plays first. Mark, you won the toss, so you make the first selection.

Words Words Words it is. Here's your first question. We often use a fork to help us eat our food, but for the box, I need you to tell me, what are the fingers of a fork called?

Ooh... You were very close. The answer was Tines. Prongs would've also been acceptable. So no money in the pot as of yet. Let's move the categories around. (shuffle sfx)And Nels, it's your pick.

TV Crime Shows, the category. In this category, I'll name three characters from a popular TV crime show, and you tell me the name of the show. Here are your three characters: Sabrina Duncan, Jill Monroe, Kelly Garrett. For the box, name the show.

Words Words Words again. Here's the question. This word could be a part of a piano, a door opener or a Florida reef. For the box, what is this word?

No. The word was Key. A door opener is a key, a key is a part of a piano, and of course, the Florida Keys. So, $250 still in the pot as we shuffle. (shuffle sfx)Nels, where to?

American Indians, first time in that category. Here's the question. This great Seminole Indian chief was imprisoned when he came under a flag of truce to talk with white military authorities. For the box, name him.
