Time for episode two of High Rollers. Matt Riggenberg is the champion with $9,500 in cash and prizes and he's looking for more. Now, during the first episode, jman8606 sent me a PM asking to play. So jman will be facing off against Matt which means sign ups for this episode are closed. If I can have both jman and Matt check in, we will get started.

All right, we're set to begin. Remember that all deadlines are 48 hours and here we go. (1987 High Rollers theme) Rich: And now a game of high stakes! Where every decision is a gamble and every move could be your last. On High Rollers! And now, here's the man with all the action, Mark Liotta! (I come out to a tremendous applause from the audience) Me: Thank you very much, Rich Fields. Welcome once again to High Rollers. (Theme ends) Skill, strategy and those unpredictable dice. Those are the elements to our game, and it could result in a $25,000 pay day by the end of the show. Rich, who are our lucky high rollers today? Rich: Player number 1 is our returning champion. He hails from Council Bluffs, Iowa and works as a courtesy clerk. Please welcome back Matt Riggenberg. His one day total stands at $9,500. And challenging Matt for the title today is James Greek. Me: Matt, we welcome you back to High Rollers. James, since you're brand new to our show, please tell the folks at home a little about yourself.

Well we're glad to have you here, James. It takes two games to win a match, so let's get started. As always, we start off by loading our columns with three nice prizes. What's the first prize, Rich? Rich: In column one, a new Xbox One console. You'll have hours of fun with Microsoft's newest gaming system. Comes with two controllers, the system itself, and five exciting games to play on the system. And you know that everyone goes online these days, so we're also throwing in an entire year of Xbox Live! This prize is worth $1,465! Me: That's definitely something. I wish I had one of those. But then again, I already have plenty of game systems. Nonetheless, let's move to column two. What do we have there, Rich? Rich: In column two, a trip to Cancun. You'll fly round trip coach from Los Angeles to Cancun, Mexico. From there, you'll head to Isla Mujeres for a six night stay at the Isla Mujeres palace. We'll also give you $1,500 in resort credit. This prize is worth $6,040. Me: That's a good prize too. And what's in column three, Rich? Rich: In column three is $10,000 in cold hard cash! Me: That makes the entire board worth $17,505 for this first game. With that in mind, let's load up the numbers.
4 2 7 5 3 9 8 6 1
And we're looking at column two as the hot column for game one. That means you could be off to Cancun if you roll an eleven. Hands on buzzers, gentlemen, as we get ready for the first question of this match. How many bones does a human foot have?

No, a human foot has 26 bones in it. Matt, you have control first. As this is a new match, all numbers are good so go ahead and roll those dice.

He wants the 5 and 1 gone, so let's do so.
4 2 7 X 3 9 8 6 X
And let's go to the next question, which is a Who Am I? question. Pay attention carefully as I give you the clues that will help you identify who I am. I was the main villain on the Nelvana produced Care Bears cartoon that ran from 1986 to 1988. My main assistant in the first Nelvana produced season of the show was beastly, and my niece Shreeky came along a year later. I lived on a dark storm cloud in a big castle with these two assistants. Who am I?

Matt, we were talking about the cartoon series, not the film. Therefore, you are incorrect. The answer we needed there was No Heart. James, you're in control of the dice. All rolls are good, so go ahead and roll those dice.

And he wants the 4 and the 3 off the board, so let's do that.

Next question coming up right now. On average, how long do cats live?

You're right. Now Matt, you have a decision to make. Before you make it, though, I will tell you that the bad rolls are 3,4,5 and 12. Would you like to roll the dice or pass them to James?

Oh no, a four! (bad roll sfx) And just like that, game one goes to James! (High Rollers game win sfx) Well James, you didn't win any prizes that game; however, you get our house minimum of $500 in cash and if you win the next game, you'll advance to the Big Numbers for a shot at 25 grand. We'll play round two on High Rollers right after this. (Fade to commercial)

(Back to the studio) Welcome back to High Rollers. We had a quick first game which saw Matt roll a bad number even though there were only five numbers left on the board. As a result, James has a one game to none lead and $500 to go with it. We'll get into our second game right now. Since nobody claimed or won a prize in the first round, we'll keep everything where it is for the second game. There is, however, one addition. For this second game, we're adding a mystery prize to the board. The mystery prize will not be revealed unless somebody wins it, but I will say right now that today's mystery prize is worth more than $9,000. That means there's over $26,000 in prizes up for grabs in this round. Let's load up the numbers right now.
5 9 2 3 4 7 1 6 8
And the hot column this time is column one. That means if you roll a nine, you could walk away with an Xbox One prize package. But in order to have a shot at the board, you guys need to win a toss up question. So let's get to the first question of game number two. Which pitcher led the American League in the earned run average category during the 1992 MLB season?
