Since we had a lot of fun doing this last year, we'll be doing another holiday special this year. This time, however, it's going to be an hour long show so I need nine players. If you'd like to play, sign up here

Just a quick note. Shouldn’t this be in Channel 3 instead? This is a special, so it doesn’t count toward the series proper. Therefore, it belongs here.

Time to get this show started. All deadlines are 48 hours and here we go.
(cue 1979 COD theme; opening titles read Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Lots Of Prizes) Jim: Here it comes! From the Bob Barker Studio at CBS in Hollywood, it's a special edition of America's number one game show! The fabulous 60 minute Price Is Right! Bill Skinner, come on down! Matt Riggenberg, come on down! Frank Sartori, come on down! Nels Snesrud come on down! You are the first four contestants on this special Price Is Right! (1972 main theme) And now, here's your host for this special hour, the star of The Price is Right. Mark Liotta! (I come down the aisle high fiving various members of the audience. Rachel hands me the microphone as I make my way onto the stage. I bow) Me: Welcome to The Price Is Right! (audience applauds) I thank you very much. (Theme fades out, audience bursts out laughing) Now wait a minute. We just started and something's going on here. What's this audience laughing at? Jim: Mark, I think it has to do with the outfit one of the contestants is wearing. Me: Now let me see this. (I observe Frankie's Santa Cookie outfit) Frank: Ho ho ho, me Santa Claus. Me: First of all, this is NOT Let's Make A Deal. Second, you're not Santa Claus. I am. And if you're not careful, you won't get any prizes. Speaking of prizes, we're going to give one away right now with the first item up for bids on The Price Is Right! Jim: It's an ocean kayak. The hugely versatile Scrambler 11 is the ultimate family sit-on-top. Packed with features like solid lifting handles, provision for an oval storage hatch, and storage bucket hatch. The perfect choice for the paddler who wants to surf a little, fish a little or just cruise around. Me: We will present that to whoever bids closest to the actual retail price without going over. Bill, what do you bid? Bidding order: Bill, Matt, Frankie, Nels

$951 for Nels. (ding) The actual retail price is $847 and Matt is the winner. (COD cue) Matt has won his way on stage and will play our first game of the night. (Matt joins me at the Giant Price Tag) Matt, it's our holiday show and we want to start it off with a bang. And we think that the appropriate way to do so would be to give you one of these! (Door number two opens) Jim: A new Porsche! (Match Game Hollywood Squares Hour theme) The Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid has the look of a traditional car with modern technology. Features include AM/FM radio, paint sealant, fabric protectant and California Emission. (Match Game Hollywood Squares Hour theme ends) Me: Now that is a lovely Porsche and I would love to give that away to you. Now the numbers in the price of that Porsche are 8,7,6,5 and 3. (I put the number chips in the bag) And, we also have to put those pesky strikes in there too. (I place the X chips in the bag) Now Matt, reach in there, grab a number and tell me where it goes in the price of the Porsche. (Give me a letter from A to H)

(Matt pulls out another X; buzzer) Oh my! Already two strikes and not a single number lit up. (I discard the X) Matt, I would advise you to be careful from here on out because if you get that third strike then that car’s gonzo alonzo. Now get a number this time. (Letter between A and F)
