Since the last episode was so much fun, let's begin our next episode. Lenny Jackson is our new champion with a 1-day total of $25,800. I will need him to check in and I need a new challenger to face him. Who would like to test their knowledge?
(Note: The last person to play was James Greek. I ask that you sit this episode out before trying again.)

V.O: You're watching CBS.
========================================
(opening theme)
Rich: From Television City in Hollywood, it's everybody's favorite game of strategy, knowledge and fun. It's Tic Tac Dough!
And now, here's our host: Frank Sartori!
(cheers and applause as I walk out onstage)
Me: Thank you Rich Fields! Thank you folks! Welcome in to another edition of Tic Tac Dough. We're so glad you could join us tonight. We've got a great game for you tonight. Let's find out who's here to play!
(contestant intro)
Rich: First, our returning champion is a college student from Washington D.C., who has a 1-day total of $25,800, it's Lenny Jackson!
(cheers and applause)
And his opponent is unemployed from Virginia, David Barkow!
(end of contestants' intro)
Me: Lenny, you had an exciting game last time. Not only did you take down a 12-day champion, but you also won our Tic Tac Jackpot. How do you feel after your last performance on our show?

Hopefully that knowledge will help you on tonight's show. Best of luck to you David and good luck to both players. Let's get started with this first game of Tic Tac Dough. Here are the categories.
We have Games of Chance, the $1,000 Question, Hockey, The 1970s, Movies, the Jump In Category, World Leaders, the Secret category and finally, History and Politics. Each box will get you $200, while the center box gets you $300 and extra time to think about the question. For the $1,000 Question, get that question correct, we will add $1,000 to the pot. For the Jump In Category, I will read you a question then you will PM me a buzzcode from 1-100. Whoever is closest gets a chance to answer. If you are correct, you get the box. If you're wrong, your opponent will get a chance to answer. If you get the question correct under the Secret category, we will double all the cash that is in the pot. So with that said, we want to wish you both the best of luck. As always, we start with our champion. Lenny, where would you like to begin?

Let's start with Movies

Starting with Movies. This is a 2-part question. You will have some extra time to think about it. Here comes your 2-part question under Movies. Your first part is this.
"After all, tomorrow is another day!" is the last line from which movie that won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1939? That's the first one. Your second one is:
What is the name of the kingdom where the 2013 animated movie Frozen is set? Those are your two questions. Here is your extra time to think about it.
Alright Lenny. Which one would you like to answer first?

Okay.
What is the name of the kingdom where the 2013 animated movie Frozen is set?

Arendelle

That is correct. Now for the center box and $300, "After all, tomorrow is another day!" is the last line from which movie that won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1939?

Gone With the Wind is correct! Put an X on the board!
(applause, ding)
Nicely done Lenny. We have $300 in the pot. Let's shuffle.
David, it's your selection.

Games of Chance in the bottom right-hand corner. Here comes your question David.
In the game of hearts, how many points is the Queen of spades worth? For the box, name it.

13 points is correct! Very good!
David's got a circle on the board and we have $500 in the pot. Let's shuffle.
Lenny, we're back to you.

Sticking with Games of Chance. Here comes your question Lenny.
What type of poker game do players who are dealt a number of cards (typically 5 or 7) must use those original cards to make their best hand? For the box, name it.

Texas Hold Em?

|
|
Post by grapebuy789 on Nov 6, 2018 9:42:38 GMT -5
Good guess, but that's incorrect.
(buzzer)
(audience groans)
The correct answer we were looking for was stud poker.
So no box there. We still have $500 in the pot. Let's shuffle.
David, it's your selection.
