Can you please save me a spot in the next episode if possible? You got it! Also, there's one open slot left in my Family Feud game if you want it.

(1978 CS Intro) ERIN HARRIS: Aces are high, deuces are low! Call it right, and win the dough...on Card Sharks! (1978 CS Theme) And now, here's the host of Card Sharks, Bill Skinner!Welcome to Card Sharks once again, everybody! We have a great game on tap for today, so put your hands together and welcome our champion, geniusinmath, and his challenger, koopakid17! Also, let's give a warm welcome for our two dealers: Amber Lancaster and Tiffany Coyne! Now, while Amber deals geniusinmath's cards and Tiffany deals koopakid17's, here are the rules for the uninitiated: The objective of the game is to guess five cards correctly before your opponent does. All matches are best-of-three, and the player who wins two matches will win the game and go on to play the Money Cards. And geniusinmath, as our champion, you will play the first question of the day. We asked 100 fans of The Big Bang Theory, a show that is ending after its current season, and it goes like this: "Do you often compare your lives to those of the characters on the show?"How many of them said yes?

Well, I am not a fan of the show. I am not sure if any of my family watch it. I would say 52 think so.

geniusinmath says 52. ding!koopakid17, is the actual number higher or lower than 52?

I think fans of that show are more apt to be scientists or physicists. I'll say higher because they can apply the calculations in their daily lives.

And it's higher for koopakid17. ding! The actual number of Big Bang Theory fans who said that they often compare their lives to those of the characters on the show is... ding-ding-ding!...80, so it is higher, and koopakid17 will get first crack at the cards. Now what's his base, Tiffany? (6 ♥)A 6. Would you like to play the card or change it?

Change the card!
|
|
|
Post by Bill Skinner on Nov 6, 2018 8:40:42 GMT -5
Sure, let's change the 6, and what does it become?
(5 ♣)
A 5. I don't think it helps much, but let's play it right now. Is the next card higher or lower?

|

Post by koopakid17 on Nov 6, 2018 12:53:29 GMT -5
I'll go higher!
|
|
|
Post by Bill Skinner on Nov 6, 2018 15:30:12 GMT -5
Higher than a 5?
(8 ⋄)
ding!
You're right! Now you can freeze here, or continue to play. What would you like to do?

Post by koopakid17 on Nov 6, 2018 18:33:12 GMT -5
Gotta freeze!
|
|
|
Post by Bill Skinner on Nov 7, 2018 6:27:07 GMT -5
Let's freeze at the 8, and get into a new question. koopakid17, you get the next question, to which we asked 100 people who had voted for Donald Trump as President: "Two years later, do you regret voting for Trump?"How many of those people said yes?
|
|
|
Post by koopakid17 on Nov 7, 2018 8:03:23 GMT -5
I think there are people who regretted voting for their candidate because promises weren’t made. It’s been that way with a lot of presidents and I don’t see Trump being too big an exception. I’ll say 40.

So koopakid17 says 40. ding!geniusinmath, is the actual number higher or lower than 40?

I agree with Kevin's logic but I think it is going to be a little higher.

Post by Bill Skinner on Nov 7, 2018 11:32:03 GMT -5
So it's higher for geniusinmath... ding!...and the actual number of people who said that they regret voting for Trump two years after they did is... ding-ding-ding!...71, so it is higher, and geniusinmath is going to play his cards first this time. As they say, voter beware! Now what's the base card, Amber? (K ♥)A King! Are you going to play it or change it?

Lower than a King?

Lower than a Jack?
(2 ♥)
ding!
You got it again! I have a feeling that I know what you're going to say next.

Higher.

Post by Bill Skinner on Nov 8, 2018 8:52:56 GMT -5
Of course. Is it higher than a 2?
(8 ♣)
ding!
Yes, it is! Now one more card, and you win the round. What's your decision here?

And with that, we freeze at the 8. Third question goes to geniusinmath, and we asked 100 Native Americans: "Do you get offended when people call you Indians?"How many of them said yes?
