Time now for another exciting edition of Card Sharks. Glen Brown, who has won the past two shows, is leaving for some business trips this weekend and will not be available for at least a month. So rather than placing the series on hold, we will proceed with a temporary champion. Now Frankie expressed interest in playing this episode, so I need one opponent for him. (gameboy needs to sit out since he played last show)

Time to start. 48 hour deadlines and away we go. (CS 78 theme) Jim: Aces are rockets. Deuces are ducks. Play the cards wrong and it's awwwwwww - shucks On..............Card Sharks! And here's the host of Card Sharks, Mark Liotta! (I come out to a tremendous applause from the audience) Me: Thank you very much, Jim Thornton. (Theme fades out) Welcome once again to Card Sharks, folks. If you've been watching the last two shows, then you know that Glen Brown is a very good player here on Card Sharks. Case in point, he's won close to $32,000 in cash and prizes during his time with us. Glen is not with us today, however, as he was called away on business and won't be available for a while. We wish the Glen the best of luck and he will continue his run when he's able to do so. In the meantime, we have two new players with us today so let's go ahead and meet them right now. (Frankie and Nels head to the podiums) Frank Sartori and Nels Snesrud are here with us to do battle today. Frankie, tell the folks a little about you and what you do.

First of all Mark, I love the poem. Second, I am 23 years old from Massachusetts. I will be 24 next month. I am a full-time college student studying early childhood education. In my spare time, I enjoy shopping for retro video games and I am a collector of Monopoly games.

Very nice. We wish you the best of luck here on our program here, Nels. Best two out of three earns the right to play for 32 grand in the Money Cards and the first question goes to Frankie. We surveyed 100 married men and we asked them: Has your mother-in-law ever dropped in unannounced? How many of them said that their mother-in-law has dropped in unannounced?

(ding ding ding) Not as many as I thought it would've been, very interesting. Frankie, you're starting off this match with...................a four (4C).

(audience boos) Audience, if you think you can play this game better, then come up and do it yourselves! Anyway, as you can tell, they disagree with the choice but it is your decision, after all. Higher than the seven..........a three (3H; buzzer). The audience was right to disagree there, and we go to Nels with..................a nine (9C). Now Nels, you have to play this one and I will ask for higher or lower.

How many of them said that they've wanted to dress up in a scary Halloween costume only for your mom to disapprove?
