Well, episode 1 ended in a dreaded double overbid in the showcase round. Hopefully we can improve on that this time around. I'll need four people, so Come On Down if you'd like to play

All right, we will now begin the show. All deadlines are 48 hours and away we go. (cue 1979 Come On Down music) Jim: Here it comes! From the Bob Barker Studio at CBS in Hollywood, television's most exciting game of fantastic prizes! The fabulous Price Is Right! Anthony Long, come on down! Kevin Kolsen, come on down! rocks12345, come on down! Matt Bingel, come on down! You are today's contestants on The Price Is Right! (1972 main theme) And now, here is the star of The Price Is Right. Mark Liotta! (I come out from door number two to a tremendous applause from the audience. I bow while holding my wireless mic in my hand) Me: Welcome to The Price Is Right! (audience cheers loudly) I thank you for that wonderful welcome. (Theme fades out) Right back there is where we'll find our first item up for bids today. (Door number three opens) Jim: A pair of mountain bikes. From KHS bicycles, these 24 speed mountain bikes include alloy frames and spor saddles) Me: Of course, those bikes will be awarded to whoever bids closest to the actual retail price without going over, Matt, what do you bid? Bidding order: Matt B, rocks12345, Kevin, Anthony

$1 for Anthony. (ding) The actual retail price of those bikes is $1,098 and Kevin wins them. (Come On Down cue) Kevin has earned the right to play our first game of the day, and it will be played right up here. (Kevin follows me to the turntable; COD fades out) Kevin, I would love to start things off today by seeing you leave this studio in one of these! (Door number two opens) Jim: A new car! (1976 Big Banana cue) It's the 2018 Toyota Yaris iA. Comes with 1.5 liter engine, six speed automatic transmission, four wheel drive, cargo tote, carpeted trunk mats, center armrest, paint sealant and fabric protectant. The Yaris iA! (Big Banana fades out, Money Game spins around on the turntable) Kevin: Kevin, my friend, you are going to play the Money Game here for that nice automobile. Down here at the bottom of the board are the five numbers that make up the price of the car, and I will allow you to see the middle number. (I lift up the tag and find an 8; ding) There it is, it's an eight. Find the first two numbers and the last two numbers for me and if you do, that car is yours. Which number do you want first? (audience yells suggestions)

Let's start with 16.

16 is his first choice. Do we see a part of the car back there? (I lift up the 16; ding) No, that's a dollar sign. Make another selection, Kevin.

17 is his choice. Is that it for the front or back? (I lift up 17; ding) Nope, another dollar sign. Now Kevin, if you find two more dollar signs, then you lose. You're at $33 so far and I ask you for your next choice.

18. Well, they say the third time's the charm and I hope that's the case here. (I lift up 18; ding ding) And it is! That's an $18,000 car there, Kevin. Now you're going for the back of the car, so select again.

He wants 25 next. Does he win that car? (I lift up 25; ding) Not with that choice, he doesn't. Kevin, you're now up to $58. However, this is your last pick off the board. Think carefully and tell me what number you want next.

He wants 40. (I start to lift up the 40, then stop) Kevin, you should know that I don't drive myself. (I start to lift it up again, but stop myself again) And that's why I want you to win this car so badly! (I finally lift up the 40; ding) But he didn't. Well you ended up with $98, and that's pretty decent. But let's see what he needed for the back of the car. (I lift up the 69 and find a dollar symbol) That one wouldn't have done it. (I lift up the 37 and find another dollar symbol) That one wouldn't have done it either. (audience member yells something) I think I heard some people in the back yell 52. (I lift up the 52 and find the back of the car) And those people in the back were right. $18,852. (1972 main theme) Kevin, the good news is you might get another chance to win something in a little while. (Kevin leaves the stage and goes back to Contestant's Row) Will our next game have a better result? Find out after this. (Fade to commercial)
