Time to begin a new "week" on Card Sharks. Glen Brown has a one day total of $25,933 and we need a challenger for him. If you'd like to play, sign up here. (I ask Hunter to sit this out as he played the last episode)

All right, a longer delay than anticipated, but let's get started. All deadlines are 48 hours and here we go. (cue CS 78 theme) Jim: Here’s a call That’s not really hard If the base is an 8, Just change that card. On....................Card Sharks! And here's the host of Card Sharks, mark Liotta! (Logo rises as I enter the stage to a tremendous applause. Logo descends, theme fades out) Me: Thank you very much, Jim. Welcome to the start of a new week here on Card Sharks. We've got a new champ with us who's ready to win more stuff so let's meet him right now along with his challenger. (Glen and gameboy run to their podiums) First up today is our returning champion Glen Brown. It's a pleasure to have you back, sir. Remind the folks about what you do.

I'm a Finance Admin assistant for my city. In my spare time, I like to golf and play tennis in the summer, curl and play hockey in the winter.

Ah, very nice. I play hockey myself, and I also follow the NHL very closely. I'm excited to see how the Leafs do this year with Tavares part of that group now. Best of luck to you Glen as we meet your challenger, gameboy2000. gameboy, tell the folks a little bit about yourself.

Well hopefully you can make yourself some money to get a good job. Best of luck to you, David. And best of luck to you, Glen. We play a best two out of three match here on Card Sharks, and as always, the first question goes to the champ. Glen, we surveyed 100 married women and we asked them: "Does your husband get a little too close to you in bed?". How many of them said that their husband gets a bit too close to them in bed?

Well, I am divorced after all! (audience chuckles)
I would think that's going to be a fairly high number, so I'll go for 60.

Glen says 60 of them. (ding) gameboy, is the answer higher or lower than 60?

I don't think many husbands would do that to their wives. I'll say lower.

gameboy says it's lower. (ding) The actual number of married women who said that their husband gets too close to them in the bed is..........56 of them. (ding ding ding) gameboy's right, it's lower. gameboy has control first to start off this match and the card is.....................a six (6C). Play or change?

He's changing the six, and it is.............a seven (7H; audience groans) Not that much of an improvement, sir.

(crowd boos) The audience seems to have a difference of opinion out there, but you're the one who's up here playing the game and not them. Higher than the nine...................a ten (10S). You're right, but just barely. Two cards to go if you want to continue, or you can freeze right now to protect your place.

He wants to go on and he says lower..............a seven (7D). Well Glen, you've had some tough cards aside from the three at the start. But you've navigated through them very well and you're now one card away from winning the game as well as a cash bonus. However, you can freeze if you wish. (audience yells suggestions)

He's going higher than the seven, ladies and gentlemen. (audience boos) And there they go again. Now audience, you booed him once and look what happened. Glen, I hope lightning strikes twice for you here. Higher than the seven.........no! (7S; buzzer) What a rotten time for that to happen! Glen, you have to go all the way back to the three and we will proceed with question number two. gameboy, you get this one so listen carefully. We surveyed 100 people and we asked them: Have you ever lost power during a thunderstorm? How many of them said yes, they've lost power during a storm?

I am pretty sure that has happened to a lot of people, so I will say a high number: 90.

gameboy says 90 of them have lost power. (ding) Glen, is the actual number higher or lower than 90?

Glen believes it is lower. (ding; I start to check my card, but stop) How many of you folks in the audience have lost power during storms? (A third of the audience members raise their hands) Ah, I see. Those of you who seem to be immune to power outages during bad weather should consider yourselves to be quite fortunate. Now, the actual number of folks who have lost power during a thunderstorm is...........78 of them. (ding ding ding) Glen's right, it's lower. Glen has earned a chance to redeem himself, but he has to start again at the three in order to do that. Play or change, Glen?
