Nice strategy. CASINO [1]: [$3000] [$6000] SERGIO: 4
CASINO [2]: [$3000] [$3000]
CASINO [3]: [$9000]
CASINO [4]: [$6000] PATSEEN: 3
CASINO [5]: [$3000] [$7000] WILLIAM: 7 PATSEEN: 3
CASINO [6]: [$5000] SERGIO: 3And the 1 remaining die is 5, and at $50 per point, that's another $250. SERGIO | WILLIAM | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $2600 | $3125 | $500 | $3350 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 3 | ROLLS: 0 |
And with that, you're done for this part of the round, Sergio. Which only leaves Anthony. You haven't done anything and let the other players duke it out. Now, you finally get to have your go here as you have 3 rolls and 8 dice, but you have to answer the following 3 questions correctly if you want to use these dice, and make sure you hit your buzzer to determine the Payoff Point. Here we go. QUESTION 10: Who was the Brooklyn-born gangster who founded Las Vegas as a gambling mecca?SERGIO | WILLIAM | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $2600 | $3125 | $500 | $3350 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 3 | ROLLS: 0 |
(Buzz-In!)PAYOFF POINT: $25 $50 [$75] $100 $500What's your answer, Anthony?

I say that this is a great strategy, because no one chose that one, so he can get more money unopposed. CASINO [1]: [$3000] [$6000] SERGIO: 4

CASINO [6]: [$5000] SERGIO: 3And the 7 remaining dice total 33, and at $75 per point, that's an additional $2,475! SERGIO | WILLIAM | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $2600 | $3125 | $3075 | $3350 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 2 | ROLLS: 0 |
2 questions left, Anthony. Here's the next one. QUESTION 11: What word is used by the International Telecommunication Union to represent the letter A?SERGIO | WILLIAM | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $2600 | $3125 | $3075 | $3350 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 2 | ROLLS: 0 |

(Buzzer)That is incorrect. The answer we're looking was Alpha. SERGIO | WILLIAM | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $2600 | $3125 | $3075 | $3350 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 1 | ROLLS: 0 |
For getting that question wrong Anthony, we're taking away one of your rolls and put it into the Penalty Box. PENALTY BOX: 1 ROLLThe Penalty Box question will come up after this last question, which is for Anthony only. QUESTION 12: Finish the band name: Smokey Robinson and the _____.SERGIO | WILLIAM | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $2600 | $3125 | $3075 | $3350 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 1 | ROLLS: 0 |

Putting one more 3 in. CASINO [1]: [$3000] [$6000] SERGIO: 4
CASINO [2]: [$3000] [$3000]
CASINO [3]: [$9000] ANTHONY: 2
CASINO [4]: [$6000] PATSEEN: 3
CASINO [5]: [$3000] [$7000] WILLIAM: 7 PATSEEN: 3
CASINO [6]: [$5000] SERGIO: 3And a good strategy on your part, because the 6 remaining dice total 26, and at $500 per point, that's an additional $13,000! (Audience Cheers)SERGIO | WILLIAM | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $2600 | $3125 | $16175 | $3350 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 |
So, everyone has used their rolls, but this round is not over yet. PENALTY BOX: 1 ROLLThere is 1 roll in the Penalty Box, and Richard, how many dice that have not been used by our players? Richard: We have 1 die left from Sergio, 1 die left from William, 6 dice left from Anthony, and 2 dice from Patseen, so that's a total of 10 dice. DK: OK, so now, we're going to take the 10 unused dice and put them in the Penalty Box, so 1 roll AND 10 unused dice are all on the line on this one Sudden-Death question. Now pay close attention, because there are some special rules: First of all, if you buzz in, and get the question wrong, you'll be locked out. The second part is that Richard will determine the Payoff Point with his special lockout button. (Richard pushes the button) PAYOFF POINT: $25 $50 $75 [$100] $500And it's going to be $100 per point from the unused dice. And the third part is that this time, there are no buzz-in codes, and as soon as the question has been posted, this will be a first-come first-served buzz-in, so ANYONE can buzz-in and respond at the forum, so to make things fair, I'm going to post the question on September 9th, 3:00 PM EST. OK, here's the question. SUDDEN DEATH: If you know your 80s, then you should know your vocabulary on this one. The word "Motor" would have been used in the 80s in which of these contexts? A. Cool B. On the job C. Stand in line D. Got to goAnswer now, or forever hold your peace!

D. Got to go is what Anthony says...and that's the way to go. Well done! (Audience Applause with Ding)Sergio, if you haven't heard the phrase, "I've got to motor if I am going to be to work on time", then you don't know the 80's. So Anthony, for getting the Sudden Death question right, you've won everything inside the Penalty Box, which are 10 dice and 1 roll, meaning that no matter what happens, you're through to the next round. All that matters is rolling the dice and see if you can build up your bank even more. This is the only roll you have, so make it count. (Anthony Rolls) A 3-of-a-kind on 3's and 5's, a couple 6's, and only 1 on 1 and 4, and no 2's. Which group will benefit you the most, Anthony?

Adding more 3's to that casino... CASINO [1]: [$3000] [$6000] SERGIO: 4
CASINO [2]: [$3000] [$3000]
CASINO [3]: [$9000] ANTHONY: 5
CASINO [4]: [$6000] PATSEEN: 3
CASINO [5]: [$3000] [$7000] WILLIAM: 7 PATSEEN: 3
CASINO [6]: [$5000] SERGIO: 3Which leaves the total of the 7 remaining dice to 32, and at $100 per point, that's an easy addition of $3,200 to your bank. (Audience Cheers)SERGIO | WILLIAM | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $2600 | $3125 | $19375 | $3350 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 |
And now, it's time for the moment we've all been waiting for....the payoffs! Richard, who's going to get what? Richard: Well Dayo, Anthony could've earned more money from Casino 1, because even that single 1 would've earned him an additional $3,000 for second place in that casino. Either way, Sergio earns $6,000 from Casino 1 and $5,000 from Casino 6. No one has claimed any money from Casino 2, so those money bags will be placed into the Jackpot. Same can be said for the $3,000 money bag from Casino 1. Anthony gets $9,000 from Casino 3 alone while William gets $7,000 from Casino 5. Patseen has not done too bad either as he gets $3,000 from Casino 5 and $6,000 from Casino 4. DK: Thanks, Richard. Everyone has done very well, and when we add them all up, these are the total scores for our players as we end Round 1... SERGIO | WILLIAM | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $13600 | $10125 | $28375 | $12350 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 |
Sergio has $13,600; William has $10,125; Anthony has $28,375; and Patseen has $12,350. You all have done very well in this first round, but it's Anthony, Sergio and Patseen who are going to be moving to Round 2! (Audience Cheers and Applause)Which sadly means that William, with $10,125, I'm sorry to say that you have been eliminated from the game. SERGIO | WILLIAM | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $13600 | $0 | $28375 | $12350 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 |
(Audience Groans)So, the $10,125 that we've just taken away from you, as well as $3,000 from Casino 1 and $6,000 from Casino 2 will all be put into the Champion's Jackpot, which now has a new total of: CHAMPION'S JACKPOT: $119,125(Cha-Ching!)$119,125. (Audience Cheers and Applause)William, you will not be leaving this show empty-handed. We have some nice consolation prizes backstage, as well as what, George? George: Well, as a memento of your stay here in Vegas, we're giving you our official Vegas Dice Game Piggy Bank...
...along with a $200 Savings Bond. Don't spend it all in one place.DK: And the winner of this first round goes to Anthony Long! For winning Round 1, this prize is yours! George: It's a home theater system!(Audience Applause)This five-piece home theater system from Klipsch unmasks every layer of sonic detail, giving your favorite movies and music the respect they deserve. Includes two surround speakers, a pair of bookshelf speakers, a center speaker, and a subwoofer! This prize is worth $1,400!(Audience Applause)SERGIO | WILLIAM | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $13600 | SO LONG! | $28375 | $12350 | ROLLS: 0 | GAME OVER | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 |
DK: Thanks, George. And with that, we're done with Round 1, but when we come back, the questions get harder and the stakes get higher, and we will eliminate another one of our 3 remaining players, but who will make it to the end, where our champion, Frank Sartori, aka grapebuy789, is waiting for them? Find out when the Vegas Dice Game returns! George: Coming up, the money doubles!

DK: Welcome back to the Vegas Dice Game, but before we go on any further, let's take a moment of silence to remember the victims and heroes on the 17th anniversary of September 11, 2001. (10 seconds of silence pass) Thank you. With that said, let's quickly recap the scores. SERGIO | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $13600 | $28375 | $12350 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 |
Anthony is in the lead with $28,375; Sergio is in second with $13,600; and Patseen is now in last place with $12,350. You also may notice that William is no longer with us because he has been eliminated from the last round, and at the end of this round, one of you three will be the next to go, but anything can happen, especially since it's time for Round 2... the Double Up round! And Richard is going to tell us why and how the Double Up round works. Richard: Thank you, Dayo. Players, in this round, each of you will now take turns answering questions against the clock in order to win rolls and even more cash. The reason why we call this round the Double Up round is because almost everything have been doubled. How this round works is that each of you will have 30 seconds to try and answer as many questions as you can, and for each correct answer, you will earn 1 roll. As for the money, well, for each 1 correct answer, you will now earn $200. 2 correct answers in a row will earn you $400, and 3 or more correct answers in a row will earn you $600 each. Now, if you don't know the answer to a question, you simply say "Pass", and we'll move on to a new question. _ N _ _ _ R Also, in front of me is a mini puzzleboard that will contain some missing letters to the correct answer. You will have up to 3 guesses to answer each question, or simply say "Pass" to save time, because you are up against the clock. When your time expires, if you answer all of your questions correctly without passing or missing any questions, then you will receive a bonus of $1,000 cash! (Audience Cheers and Applause)PAYOFF POINT: $250Also, the Payoff Point throughout the entire round is $250 for each dot on the dice that have not been used, and if you still have rolls left over after all the dice have been used, we'll multiply the number of unused rolls by $500. CASINO [1]:
CASINO [2]:
CASINO [3]:
CASINO [4]:
CASINO [5]:
CASINO [6]:And last, but certainly not least, the Casinos. Now, each casino must hold at least $10,000 in each one, and the Money Bags now hold anywhere between $2000 to $18,000, but that's not all. We've added 3 special Money Bags: Bronze, Silver and Gold, worth $20,000; $30,000; and $50,000 respectively. (Audience Cheers and Applause)And during the break, the Banker have pre-selected the following amounts inside the casinos... CASINO [1]: [$2000] [$8000]
CASINO [2]: [$18,000]
CASINO [3]: [$18,000]
CASINO [4]: [$10,000]
CASINO [5]: [$12,000]
CASINO [6]: [$20,000]The Bronze Money Bag is in play, which means that in this round, someone could win as much as a whopping $86,000! (Audience Cheers and Applause)DK: Wow! A lot of money to be won in this round here. Thanks, Richard. Now Anthony, since you are in the lead going into this round, you have a choice of who goes first, and which Question Set that player is going to answer. [Set A] [Set B] [Set C]

DK: Right. Let's put 30 seconds on the clock. Cool. Let's do it. The best-selling General Mills Cereal: _ _ _ _ Y // _ _ T // _ _ _ _ _ _ O _ Patseen: Honey Nut Cheerios! DK: Correct. What singer was born Gordon Summer? _ T _ _ _ Patseen: Sting! DK: Correct. Richard, how well did Patseen do? Richard: Patseen has got 6 questions, but he did skip one. However, he did get 5 right for 5 rolls and a total of $2,000. SERGIO | ANTHONY | PATSEEN | $13600 | $28375 | $14350 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 0 | ROLLS: 5 |
DK: Thanks, Richard. You got 5 rolls, but you did skip one question, so let's take a look at the one you didn't get. What Stephen Sondheim musical features the "Demon Barber of Fleet Street"? _ _ _ _ _ E _ // _ _ _ _ The answer we're looking for is: What Stephen Sondheim musical features the "Demon Barber of Fleet Street"? S W E E N E Y // T O D D It was Sweeney Todd. Well, you didn't get the extra bonus, but you'll still do some damage here at the Casino Board. Now Patseen, you got 5 rolls, and we're going to use every single one of them right now, so take your first roll when ready. You got 8 dice from the first round back to you. (Patseen Rolls) Got a variety of numbers, Patseen. Which group are you going to use first?
