As promised, this will be a very special episode where I welcome back previous champions from early on in the series. In the first half, the Grays, who won the 1983 episode, will go up against the Greeks, who were the first five-time champions in the series' history, sweeping the 1988 to 1992 stretch. The winner of that matchup will then face the Kolsens, who are the current reigning champions from 1993.
Here's what's different this time around:
This is now an hourlong show, with Team A playing Team B in the first half; the winner plays Team C in the second half.
The Bullseye round is renamed Bankroll, with only one player from each team playing all three questions, and they can be any player chosen by their respective teams. Also, the question values have been changed, to $500/$1,500/$2,500 in the first half, and $1,000/$3,000/$5,000 in the second half. The minimum that can be played for Fast Money will be $2,500 in the first half, and $5,000 in the second half, with maximum values being $7,000 and $14,000, respectively.
A new board has been installed, displaying a maximum of eight answers as opposed to the original twelve. The background will be blue during the main game, and red during Fast Money.
For the first time since 1984, the second and third players on from the other team will shout out answers to their leader at the same time on a steal attempt; however, the family that wins a face-off will still gain control in the round.
If a family successfully steals the question, the point values from the answer used to steal will be added to their total.
In preparation for the show, I now present the episode that marked Richard Dawson's return as host:

Sure, you can do that. Since Raymond has not been active for a few days, I'll let you take that spot. As for Matthew, I'm still waiting on him to sign back in.

You may want to replace Matthew as well. He hasn’t logged on in a week.

Sure, I'll leave Matthew's spot open until someone steps in for him, and the show will start then and there.

Will I play on both teams or will someone fill in for me on Antonio’s team?

This presents an interesting conundrum, James: On face-offs, you will represent your own team when going against Antonio, and Antonio's when playing against Matt. The same thing would apply to Kevin if your team should win, because he's also the leader of the last champion team. Anyway, let's get to it...
(1994 FF Intro)
ERIN HARRIS: It's time for the Family Feud! Introducing the Gray family: Antonio, James and David, ready for action! Playing against the Greek family: James, Matt and Kevin. On your marks, let's start...the Family Feud! (1994 FF Theme) Here's the star of Family Feud, Bill Skinner!
Thank you very much! I can't believe it's finally here. Well, welcome to Family Feud once again, and this is a very special episode because we're welcoming back two of our previous champions to the show. But before we can get to that, I want to remind you that we're now playing in Richard Dawson's comeback season. I guess you could say that we got to see an older, wiser Dawson, because a lot had changed since his last episode back in 1985. He starred in an Arnold Schwarzenegger film, married a former contestant on his show, and they had a daughter together, Shannon; she's the stepsister of Mark and Gary Dawson. Oh, and he made a promise to Shannon that he would only kiss her mother, so he would not kiss the female contestants that time. Now, let's welcome back the Grays, who were the top winners in the original Dawson era; they won a total of $10,484 in 1983, and recorded a one-player win in Fast Money. Let's take a look back. (clips from the 1983 episode play) As you probably know, there were lots of contenders for that era, but it's the Grays who came out on top. And to take them on is the top winner from the Combs era, the Greeks; they were winners of not one, not two, not three, not even four, but five straight games from 1988 to 1992. Roll the footage! (clips from the five episodes play) Hello, guys, welcome back to the show. I want to tell you about something new that we're doing for this episode: The game is called Bankroll, where you have to come up with the Number 1 answer to each of the three questions that are in the survey. It's open to anyone, but only one player from each side will play all three questions, and you could play for as much as $7,000 in Fast Money! Who would like to play Bankroll?

Actually Anthony, you will not play this part of the game, since it's currently Antonio's team against James, and you are not a part of either, so someone else will have to play. I’ll play and I will play for my team Oh well, hold that thought: James can play, but since Matt already stated that he will play Bankroll, you will have to play for Antonio's team. Now let's play! (1994 FF Face-Off Cue) Here's how we're going to do this: We'll start out with $2,500 in each other's bank. Add it to the Grays' bank... cha-ching!...and also to the Greeks' bank. cha-ching!And this is the part where you will try to add money for your team, by finding the Number 1 answer to a series of questions that I will ask you; good luck. The first question is for $500, and here it is: Name a movie starring Sylvester Stallone.

Is the Number 1 answer Rocky? clang!(bells jangling) Yes, it is, so the Greeks add $500 to their bank, making it $3,000. dong! This next question is for $1,500. What is the rudest thing to say to a person that does not include cursing?

That's a lot of words, but maybe it could be up there. Go sit on a tack! (strike buzzer) No, that's not it. James, this is your chance to pick up some cash for the Grays.

I think that could be the one. Shut up! clang!(bells jangling) There you go, and now you have $4,000 in your bank. dong! Now we're up to our third and final question, worth $2,500. Name a place where you'd hate to be stranded on the side of the road.
