I like that answer too, because I remember getting some at my own high school graduation. Let me see some cash! clang! It's up there! And so, Raymond, if you give me the Number 3 answer, you will play Fast Money for your bank, which is currently at $10,000. What do you think it is?

Three seconds... (strike buzzer) ...and you just took your first strike. We move on to you, Matthew.

Sure, lots of graduates take vacations. And if a vacation is up there, you get to play Fast Money; if not, it's your second strike. Let me see a vacation! clang!(bells jangling) (1988 FF Win Cue) The Kolsens win the game! Well Ringgenbergs, you put up a great effort, but in the end it just wasn't enough. However, you will get some more chances in the future, so be sure to come back soon. (shakes Ringgenbergs' hands, then walks to front of stage to invite Kolsens for Fast Money) (1988 FF Theme) I need two players for Fast Money! When we come back, let's see if the Kolsens can make it a perfect 6-0 in the Ray Combs era.

All right! I’ll play Fast Money first if no one objects.

We're back with the Kolsens, who will play in our special episode next year. But first, let's get through this Fast Money round, where 200 points separate you and $10,000. Kevin, we have Matthew offstage, where he cannot see or hear your answers. I will PM you five questions, and then you will have 24 hours to PM me back your responses; try to give me the most popular answer for each one. And if you and Matthew get 200 or more points, you will win $10,000! Now let's have 24 hours on the clock, please.
dong!
And I want you to answer these questions via PM:
1. Name a sporting event that often gets shortened by rain. 2. A type of syrup. 3. Any Asian country. 4. A living thing you find in an aquarium. 5. A phrase that begins with the word "smooth".

(bells jangling) Turn around. Let's see how well you did here. I asked you to name a sporting event that often gets shortened by rain. You said... blip!...baseball, and our survey said... dong!...57. Great start indeed. I asked for a type of syrup. You said... blip!...maple. The survey said... dong!...51. You're over 100 already, with three more questions to go. Next, I wanted any Asian country. You said... blip!...China, and what did the survey say? dong!35. Now the fourth question: A living thing you find in an aquarium. You said... blip!...fish. Our survey said... dong!...31. You're up to 174 with the final question, in which I asked for a phrase that begins with the word "smooth". You said... blip!...smooth move. Well, I don't know about this, but let's see how well you did with it. Our survey said... buzz!A big, fat zero, but that's alright, because you got 174 points, and off you go. Now cover up those answers, and let's bring out Matthew! Well, Kevin got you 174 points, so you only need 26 to win. Look straight ahead, and let's have 24 hours on the clock... dong!...as we reveal your partner's answers to the audience. Good luck; I really hope you can bring it home. Name a sporting event that often gets shortened by rain. MATTHEW: Tennis.A type of syrup. MATTHEW: Maple.(double-buzz) Try again. MATTHEW: Corn.Any Asian country. MATTHEW: India.A living thing you find in an aquarium. MATTHEW: Fish.(double-buzz) Try again. MATTHEW: Plants.A phrase that begins with the word "smooth". MATTHEW: Smooth criminal.

(bells jangling) Turn around. Just 26 points away from $10,000, as I start with the first question: Name a sporting event that often gets shortened by rain. You said... blip!...tennis. If 26 people said it, you win the 10 grand. Our survey said... dong!...15. Baseball was the Number 1 answer. Well, you're now 11 points away with the next question, in which I wanted a type of syrup. You said... blip!...corn. We need 11 people to say it, just 11. And the survey said... dong!...8. Maple was the Number 1 answer. Well, you now have 3 points left to go with the third question, in which I asked for any Asian country. You said... blip!...India. We just need 3 people to say this one. Now, for $10,000, what did our survey say? dong!(bells jangling) (1988 FF Win Cue) $10,000 for the Kolsens! And for Matthew, the third time was definitely the charm. Now our remaining Number 1 answers were: China, fish and smooth jazz. (1988 FF Theme) We'll be back to wrap it up, and reveal the teams for our 1994 special, after this.

The time has come to announce the returning teams for our next episode, and here they are: Representing the Dawson side of the match, it's the Gray family, who won $10,484 on our 1983 episode, and representing the Combs side, that would be none other than the Greek family, whose total from 1988 to 1992 is $51,784. As I said, this is the final episode of the Ray Combs era, and for the record, we were a perfect 6-0 in Fast Money during this era. Join us again for 1994, when we welcome back Richard Dawson. I'm Bill Skinner saying thanks for watching, and we'll see you next time on Family Feud: Seasons. For now, so long, everybody!

ERIN: This is Erin Harris speaking for Family Feud, a Mark Goodson television production, in association with Bill's Game Shack!
