Again, I felt it was time for another revamp no matter how many times I've said it would be the last. But I felt that even though Fast Forward gives one player a chance to catch up, I thought it dragged on too long, not I fault players for keeping going. I felt it was time to reshuffle the format once again and I won't say for the last this time just to prevent from lying to myself. So here goes:
I will revert back to the old 5 category format for each game, only from here on out, they will all be straight forward. No more multiple choices. It will be three standard categories, one Fast Forward and one money doubled category, including three sets of Jokers. New categories will be introduced in Game Two and if there is a third game, all 10 categories will be in play and dollar amounts will be doubled. If both players are tied at $1,500 or more, there will be at least one round played or until the tie is broken and dollar amounts will be doubled!
There is one more element: At any moment a category could have the word "Toss-up" behind it, which means you won't know it's there. If selected, both players will be involved in the question, but if there is a "Toss-Up" behind Fast Forward at any time, there will be a series of questions. How many questions during the Fast Forward "Toss-up" is yet to be decided. Players will send me buzzcodes 1-100. Double will be involved in the "Toss-up"!
Last but not least, since it appears more difficult than I expected to hit a Natural Triple, I will do away with the Jackpot since it has gotton too overwhelming and too big! It will be only a flat $5,000 in cash and may include a trip worth up to $10,000, which is yet to be determined. In Game Three, a Natural Triple is worth $10,000!
Categories including Fast Forward will still be $200, $300 and $500 and the double category at $400, $600 and $1,000! Joker's Jackpot will still be intact and each Joker spun is still worth $1,000! The goal for each game is still $1,500 and the bonus games will remain as is, and new format will take place in the next episode!
