Here's what's new for this show:
The Bullseye round will now determine how much each family will play for in the Fast Money round; it will consist of three questions, and be played at the beginning of the game. The minimum will be $5,000, and every time someone gets the correct answer (which would be the Number 1 answer), they will add $5,000 to their bank. I modified the rules from the actual show, so that the top possible prize would remain the same.
The intro will start with a sample Bullseye question, with the Number 1 answer being revealed.
Points scored in the main game will no longer be converted to dollars, since Bullseye will determine the bank for Fast Money.
Round are now Bullseye, Single, Double and Triple.
The Greeks are back for their fifth and final game, having won $41,784 over the last four episodes. We need them to sign back in one more time, as well as three challengers to take them on. To see the Bullseye round in action, let's see this random episode from Ray Combs' fifth season:

All three members of the champion family have been signed back in; now we need three more players to challenge them.

And that's our six! (1988 FF Intro) ERIN HARRIS: Welcome to The New Family Feud! What is the top answer to this question?
"Who is the greatest professional athlete of all time, in any sport?"
If you said the Number 1 answer is Michael Jordan, you've hit the Bullseye on The New Family Feud! Introducing the Greek family, ready for action! Playing against the Snesrud family! On your marks, let's start The New Family Feud! (1988 FF Theme) Here's the star of Family Feud, Bill Skinner!Hello once again! Welcome to another new episode of Family Feud: Seasons! Now before we begin the game, I'm going to explain something. Why is the show called The New Family Feud, you ask? Well, you will see the answer in a moment: We have a brand-new addition to the game, called Bullseye, where someone could play for as much as $20,000 in Fast Money. And it could be the Greeks, who have racked up a four-day total of $41,784, or it could be their archrivals the Snesruds, who are back for the third time in a row! All six players will participate in the Bullseye round, with each player getting to play one question, and in pairs. So without further ado, James and Nels, let's play Bullseye! (1988 FF Face-Off Cue, fiddle variant) Here's how it works: First off, we will put $5,000 in the Greeks' bank... dong!...and $5,000 in the Snesruds' bank. dong! Each question will be worth $5,000, which you get by giving the Number 1 answer to each question. And, of course, the same face-off rules apply here: Just be the first to buzz in and answer. The first Bullseye question is: Name something people do in their yards.

Is the Bullseye mow the lawn? clang!(bells jangling) Yes, it is, and we add $5,000 to the Snesruds' bank for $10,000. dong! Now James and Sergio, come join me up front! Here comes the second Bullseye question: During what month of the year does the weather begin to get noticeably hotter?

May!

(I meant for Matt to answer this, but since James already did, I'll let it stand.) Is the Bullseye May? clang!(bells jangling) You got it again, and we'll add $5,000 to the Greeks' bank, for a total of $10,000. dong! Now Kevin and David, come join me for the third and final question of the round. Either side could play for $15,000 with this question: Name the most famous bridge in America.

<buzzes in> The Golden Gate Bridge

Is the Golden Gate Bridge the Bullseye? clang!(bells jangling) It is! And as a result, you get $5,000 more added to your bank, for a total of $15,000. dong!(1988 FF Commercial Cue, harmonica variant) So if the Greeks win the game, they will play for $10,000, and the Snesruds will play for $15,000 should they emerge victorious. We will get down to the business of Feuding after these messages.

A little note about scoring: We will not make points into dollars anymore, but you still have to be the first family to 300 points in order to be able to play Fast Money for your bank. So with that being said, James and Nels, please come join me for the first face-off! (1988 FF Face-Off Cue, alternate fiddle variant) Here we go with the first round of the game. The top six answers are on the board, and we asked 100 people: Name an important event that occurs in the month of May.

Memorial day

Show me Memorial Day! clang!(bells jangling) It's the Number 1 answer, and the Snesruds will play the question. Now Sergio, can you name another important event that occurs in the month of May?

Let's try with one: Super Bowl?

(laughter) I don't think they even play football in May, but that could be up there. Let me see the Super Bowl! (strike buzzer) No, that's strike one. Come on David, let's get back on the right track. Remember we're talking about important events that occur in May. What is your answer?

Just a coincidence, we just celebrated it the other day. I say it's the Number 2 answer; show me Mother's Day! clang!Number 2 indeed! Now Nels, can you keep this going?

Flag day?

|
|
Post by Bill Skinner on May 15, 2018 8:17:54 GMT -5
Sure, that's a possibility. Let me see Flag Day! (strike buzzer) Sorry, that's strike two. Now Sergio, if you don't get another answer up there, the Greeks will try to steal the bank. So what are you going with this time?

If it's not there, it would be my fault. But let's give it a try and go for May Day.

Post by Bill Skinner on May 15, 2018 8:33:54 GMT -5
I don't think it would be your fault, it's just that either it's up there or it's not. Now if May Day is up there, you're still alive, and David will be next to answer. If not, it's your third strike, and I go over to the Greeks, who will try to steal. Show me May Day! (strike buzzer) Not up there, and that's your third strike. (walks over to Greek side of stage) 56 points are up for grabs; can you take them here? I hope you know enough about May to remember something. Here's the question again: Name an important event that occurs in the month of May. Kevin, you will answer first.
