Pay Cards! is on a mini-hiatus.
There was some confusion during the last episode with the suits on the cards themselves coupled with the suits that were used as decor above the players' boards.
I'm doing a mild tweak or two to the set itself, eliminating those suits altogether above the players' heads.
Also, for the main game only, I'm using cards without any suits on them.
This is what the new payout board will look like, and will give you an example of what the cards themselves will look like as well:
Arrows are illustrating the various hands. Also included in this table are the payouts associated with each hand.
The cards used during the front game will have a spread wide enough that straights will not be possible.
In other words, during any given round, there will never been 3,4,5,6,7,8 on the board all at once, especially since the front game only deals in pairs, 3 of a kind, full house and 4 of a kind.
Hopefully this illustration will prove helpful.
When Pay Cards! does return with the next episode, it will be a rematch between Jonathan Laster and Frank Sartori.
