(huge applause)
Here comes number four!
This is a history play and tragedy, believed to have been written in 1599. It is one of several plays written by Shakespeare based on true events from Roman history, which also include Coriolanus and Antony and Cleopatra. Although the play is named by this individual, Brutus speaks more than four times as many lines as the title character; and the central psychological drama of the play focuses on Brutus' struggle between the conflicting demands of honor, patriotism, and friendship.
For a total of $800, name the title character!

David is about to fall asleep there!
(huge laughter)
Here is number five!
This play is thought to have been first performed in 1606. It dramatises the damaging physical and psychological effects of political ambition on those who seek power for its own sake. A brave Scottish general receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife, he murders King Duncan and takes the Scottish throne for himself. He is then wracked with guilt and paranoia. Forced to commit more and more murders to protect himself from enmity and suspicion, he soon becomes a tyrannical ruler.
For $1,000, who was this Scottish King?

(laughter)
I hear the Devil's favorite cigarettes is Marlboro Red if you want to join him!
(laughter)
This is for $1,200 or nothing at all!
Shakespeare is often said to have died on his birthday. But it was also on this day that singer Marvin Gaye died in 1984, Coca-Cola changed its formula in 1985 and in 1932 the New Royal Shakespeare Theater was built after the original was destroyed by fire.
For $1,200 or nothing at all, on what date did these events occur?

|
|
Post by grapebuy789 on Apr 22, 2018 8:38:10 GMT -5
I'm a bit confused by this question. Do you want all of the dates for each individual event? I know all of these events occurred in April, but not on the same date.
|
|
|
Post by Bryan on Apr 22, 2018 8:50:52 GMT -5
All was supposed to have occurred on this date, which is also Shakespeare's birthday, so just the one date in April! The Coke formula is accurate and so should the new Shakespeare Theater, disregard the Marvin Gaye incident!

|
Post by grapebuy789 on Apr 22, 2018 8:53:34 GMT -5
Then I have to take a guess and say April 23.

|
|
Post by Bryan on Apr 22, 2018 8:59:02 GMT -5
It is April 23rd! (ding, huge applause) upload pictures onlineThe producers say the new Coke date is confirmed and the rebuild of the Shakespeare Theater should be! They were somehow misinformed about Marvin Gaye's death, but we were looking for Shakespeare's birthday which is correct! Now that was our fault, you still want to continue?

Now David, Progressive is risk free, meaning if you miss this, the game would go on as if you have spun three Jokers! So it's clear that you need this, here we go!
This decade is characterized by the rise of multiculturalism and alternative media. Movements such as grunge, the rave scene and hip hop spread around the world to young people during this decade, aided by then-new technology such as cable television and the World Wide Web. It saw extreme advances in technology, with the World Wide Web, the first gene therapy trial, and the first designer babies all emerging and being improved and built upon throughout this decade.
For $600 and a total of $800, what was this decade?
