Well, The Dating Game was not up there, so maybe The Newlywed Game is? Now if it's up there, you take the bank, and if not, it's your second strike. Show me The Newlywed Game! (strike buzzer) Nope, it's strike two for you. So James, if you don't get that last answer up there, the Snesruds will try to steal. Now what are you going with this time?

Pyramid

You know, I had lots of great memories watching that show as a kid. If Pyramid is up there, you got the bank, and if not, they will try to steal it. Is the last answer Pyramid? (strike buzzer) I'm shocked that it's not up there. The ghost of Dick Clark would not be happy about this. (walks to Snesrud side of stage) Since the Greeks collected their third strike, you now get a chance to steal $98. Let me read the question first, and then I will give each of you a chance to answer individually. Here it is again: Family Feud is often regarded as one of the greatest game shows of all time; name another. David, you will answer first.

I think it's gotta be Press Your Luck

Glen says Press Your Luck. Now Nels, those are two great answers, but you also have the option of choosing your own answer, so what are you going to do?

Press your luck

You're going with Press Your Luck, and if it's up there, you steal the bank; if not, the champs keep it. Show me Press Your Luck! clang!(bells jangling) And with that, the Snesruds take the early lead in our rematch from last year. (1988 FF Commercial Cue, harmonica variant) Remember, we're going to keep playing until someone reaches $300. More Feud after this.

At this point in the game, the Snesruds lead the Greeks, $98 to $0. But we still have a long way to go, so Matt and Glen, join me for another face-off! (1988 FF Face-Off Cue, alternate fiddle variant) For this question only, we asked 100 women, with the top six answers on the board. Name an animal that you compare men to most often.

Show me a horse! clang! It's up there, but four answers will give you control, Glen.

Well, I've been called this a time or two in my day when my gal catches me looking at some other gal -- a pig!

I like your response, and I can bet it's rated high. Let me see a pig! clang!(bells jangling) And the Snesruds take control, but Matt, you may get a chance to steal, so think up some answers. Now David, we asked 100 women: Name an animal that you compare men to most often.

A dog

That's a great answer, and probably the one thing that men would hate to be called more than anything. Show me a dog! clang! It's the Number 1 answer! Nels, can you name another?

Donkey

Yes, otherwise known as the polite version of something we can't say on the air here. I think it could be up there; how about a donkey? (strike buzzer) Strike one for you. Glen, I hope you have another answer ready for us.

Well, if he's a husky fellow, some women might refer to him as a bear.

Sure, that's an obvious answer, since they even put a man's name before the bear. I would be surprised if it's not up there. Show me the good old teddy bear! clang!Right up there at Number 2! Now David, you're two answers away from taking the bank again, so let's hear another answer from you.

Cat

That's a good possibility, and it might be up there. Let me see a cat! (strike buzzer) Not up there, and Nels, if you don't get another answer up there, the Greeks will try to steal the bank.

I'm gonna say shark
|
|
|
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 17, 2018 14:03:10 GMT -5
Now if shark is up there, you're still alive; if not, the Greeks will go for the steal. Do you continue with a shark? (strike buzzer) No, that's your third strike... (walks to Greek side of stage) ...and now, Greeks, this is your chance to steal the bank. I will read the question once again, and then each of you will give me an answer that you think will help James. We asked 100 women: Name an animal that you compare men to most often. Kevin, you're up first.

Kevin says a snake; what do you say, Matt?

Snake

Matt also says snake, so James, you may take that answer or go out with your own. What is your answer going to be?

I'm going to go with the rest of them and say snake

|
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 18, 2018 11:34:45 GMT -5
And so it comes down to this: If a snake is up there, you take the bank, and if not, the Snesruds get it. Let me see a snake! clang!(bells jangling) You're back in the game. Now there is one answer that has yet to be revealed. Number 6? clang!AUDIENCE: Bull!We now have a real Feud going on, with the challengers at $98, and the champs at $84. (1988 FF Commercial Cue, alternate harmonica variant) But it takes $300 to win the game, and one of those teams will make it there. Who will it be? Find out after this.
