Free plug for a retailer. (scattered laughter from crowd) Seriously, best of luck as we play Speed Chain. It involves a four-link chain like this. (ding) In this example, we'd spotted you the top link, which is FAST -- and the bottom link, which is REACTION. There's only one word per link -- and the correct solutions would lead to three different two-word phrases. After the first and last words are revealed, we will then give you seven seconds to think over the two words that are in the middle. When the thinking time starts, we reveal the initial letter of each central word -- like this... (ding) ...F and C, staying with this example. And when the thinking time is over, you'd try to come up with the right answers -- which in this case are... (ding) ...FOOD and CHAIN. Fast food, which you can buy at certain restaurants; food chain, a common ecology term; "Chain Reaction", this game, of course. Now, Bryan, you get one chance to come up with both words. Identifying one word correctly pays $500 -- but both words right will pay $5000. (audience cheers) If you miss both, there's still a consolation prize of $250. Bryan, if you're ready, here's *your* speed chain. (ding) This speed chain begins with BEIJING and ends with BUM. The moment the inital letters of the remaining links pop in, you'll have seven seconds to think it over. When the buzzer sounds, I'll call for your guesses. Your letters and thinking time -- come -- now. (timer with seven seconds is activated; buzz) There's the time. One time only for $5000, Bryan, what are the two middle links of the speed chain?

That is awesome. What's also awesome is we gave away $40,000 to James in the final chain. See if our champ can keep winning big. Meantime, the dance party's next. For all of us on the chain gang, Doug Morris saying make it a great day, keep the faith and treasure your loved. (theme plays; audience applause)
