These last few shows, we did really well on time management, but now we don't have a lot of time for the rest of this game. I'll start our fourth round by giving the wheel a final spin. *spins the wheel* I'll ask for you to give me a letter and if it's in the puzzle, you'll have two guesses to solve it. Vowels worth nothing, consonants—Oh my... $1,500*cheers and applause* What an end to this game. $1,500 for every consonant in the puzzle. This is what we're looking at; the category is Show Biz. Every letter very important. Frank, pick one.

Not too sure of yourself but you got it! *cheers and applause* *'97 puzzle solve cue* Sometimes it just boils down to that one letter call, and by golly, you had it. You've snatched victory from the jaws of defeat with that $6,000 solve, giving you $10,648 total! Didn't even need that Free Spin, I might add. One moment, please... David, the Speed Up often makes or breaks a game, and it broke you this time. But, hey, $6,863 isn't bad for second place, considering you had another good day on our last show. You're leaving us with $15,635 cash and prizes. Frank, what can I say? It just wasn't your show. You're not going away empty-handed; we have some nice parting gifts for you just for being here. Kourtney has to chance to add to his $10,000 plus in Bonus Land when we come back!

I bet you'll have lots of fun in Alaska. Isn't that right, Jim? Jim: You bet, Kevin. Kourtney, explore all The Last Frontier has to offer when you embark on an Alaskan tour! You and a guest will fly to Juneau, where you'll start by visiting the diverse cultures of Alaska's southern cities. Then, enjoy the vast, breathtaking wilderness in a National Park tour of Alaska's mountains and ranges, courtesy of the Alaska Railroad. This all accumulates with a visit to Barrow Point where you'll experience first-hand the land of the rising sun. This excursion of a lifetime is worth $15,967, good luck! *drumroll* Me: And we'll put you to work on this puzzle, Kourtney. The category is Place. We'll see how much help RSTLNE gives you. *bong* That's it? Well, it's something at least. You'll get to add to that we hope with three more consonants and a vowel.

All right. A couple of the letters you called are in the puzzle. Will it be enough, let's see... *bong* *bong* Remember, it's a Place. Five guesses. Talk it out, good luck. (You also have the option to give up if you wish.)

*buzz-buzz* You know, I think a B or an O might have helped instead. Let's see... Sorry about that. Here's the good news, though. You have another chance to play the Bonus Round in 1999; you do that with $10,648 cash and prizes in your pocket. We'll return in a moment!

Now, of course you may have realized that in 1998, there was only one network game show on the air daytime or nighttime. That would all change around this time thanks to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? achieving worldwide success. ABC got back into the game first, so to speak. We've managed to get through without lifelines if you want to call it those.
*laughter*
See you next year here on Wheel of Fortune: Seasons, so long!
Vanna: Bye-bye!
*fade out*
