The actual number of M&Ms sold every day in America is on average...
wow 200 MILLION so it IS MORE!!!!
(applause)
James, right again! 4 for 4 on the buzzer, 4 for 4 on the questions, and so far 3 for 3 at the big board!
Decision time, you have over $10,000 in your bank, $10,200 to be exact. 22 numbers left, 5 will reset you back to $0 but 17 are safe. There's still the really big cash card out there somewhere that could be worth up to $10,000, two more Mystery Money cards, as well as 4 prizes and two "Double Your Money" cards.
Lots of good stuff, but those Fool's Gold cards lurk too. Do you want to play or pass James?

Using some strategy here to protect your bankroll James. Frank, the board is ripe for the picking. Which number do you select?

$1,500 for you Frank! (applause) Frank on the board now. Next toss-up... Wayne Gretzky was known as "The Great One" in professional hockey. True or false…Wayne Gretzky scored over 2,750 points in his career? www.dougmorris.net/dice/HR78_BUZZIN.mp3And yet again it is Quick Draw Greek first to the button. James, your answer please.

Wayne scored 2,857, it IS More!
Right again!!!!!!
James, 21 numbers left, 16 are safe, 5 are Fool's Gold.
I should point out too one box contains a car key. Whenever somebody selects that, it goes into their bank and they get to pick again right away.
If either player wins the game and hangs onto the car key, they will play the end game, the Bonus Bonanza not only for cash, but also for a chance at that Cadillac mentioned earlier by Burton.
James, do you want to risk your $10,200 and play, or pass control to Frank?

Number 3 is... OH NO!!!!!!! (Groans in the audience) The first of the 5 Fool's Gold cards James. Very sorry about that. Back to zero for the time being. Onto our next question... In what year was the Bulgarian Empire established? Was it before or after 479 A.D.? www.dougmorris.net/dice/HR78_BUZZIN.mp3Frank is in first for the first time tonight. Your answer please?

Before

You say before, the correct answer is...
681 A.D., so it was after...
(Groans in the audience)
James, control of the board lies with you. You have no money to lose, however you may elect to pass and hope Frank hits one of the remaining four Fool's Gold cards which would wipe out his $1,500. On the other hand Frank could hit that big $10,000 card.
James, do you want to play or pass? You have nothing to lose at the moment...This is where strategy comes into play.

Number 11 is James' choice this time. Please reveal what is under number 11... OH NO! FOOL'S GOLD again!!!!!!! That's the second one of 5... No harm nor foul really there James, score remains $1,500 to zero at the moment. Here's the next toss-up question. Hands on your buttons players... Was the population of Brooklyn, New York in 2010 more or less than 33,000 people per square mile? www.dougmorris.net/dice/HR78_BUZZIN.mp3Frank, you are first this time. Your answer please.

It actually was 35,369, more is CORRECT! (applause) Frank you have $1,500, nothing for James at the moment. So far 2 Fool's Gold cards have been discovered. There are three remaining. Everything else is safe. Do you want to play or pass, Frank?

I'll play and try number 20.

Number 20 it shall be for you Frank... (flip) (applause) Well, well...a Double your Dollars card. First of 2 uncovered. Frank we'll double your $1,500, so now you're at $3,000... And we're at another question. Hands on buttons players... Approximately how many ZIP codes are in the United States? Is it more or less than 41,000? www.dougmorris.net/dice/HR78_BUZZIN.mp3Frank you rang in first.

I'll say less.

Post by billmcdee on Mar 22, 2018 1:20:49 GMT -5
Frank says less than 41,000 ZIP codes in the U.S. of A... There are... 43 thousand! So no, it's MORE! No wonder I have so much trouble getting my mail! I kid, my carrier was out and about yesterday in the middle of the Nor'Easter delivering parcels! James, this means YOU are in control. You have $0 so nothing to lose if you go to the board, but if you pass, Frank could lose $3,000 if he hits one of the remaining 3 Fool's Gold cards. All four prize cards are up there still, plus one big money box that could be worth up to $10,000 and two Mystery Money boxes that can be worth anywhere between $750 and $7,500. Up to you James, do you play or do you pass?

Numero uno...and under that we see... Oh boy! (Applause) James, this means that if you win this game, and if you can hold onto that car key, you will have the chance to play the bonus bonanza round for that Cadillac, but you have to win the game and not lose that key. Fool's Gold will take that key away. The card also says "Pick Again", so please select another number and please avoid those last remaining three Fool's Gold cards James. What number this time?

Number 12 is... OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!! Fool's Gold number 3!!!!!!! Oh James! No sooner did you have that car key and it's taken away! This seems like as good a time as any to regroup. We'll take a quick time out and resume with this match. We're going to rush right back to you after this brief time out! (applause)

BURTON RICHARDSON: Today's runner-up will receive 2 ounces of gold, certified 0.9995 fine courtesy of Rosland Capital... BURTON: Gold is a very wise investment for your IRA portfolio. Visit RoslandCapital.com or call 800-370-8200. William Devane asks "What's in YOUR safe?" BURTON: And now back to the host with a heart of gold, Bill McDee! (applause) Burton you are far too kind! I thank you! And I thank all of you for staying tuned to see the conclusion of this game. Right now Frank has $3,000 on the scoreboard, James, you've been having a bit of a rough time with those Fool's Gold cards. Just 2 remaining on the board, so lots of great stuff up there still including four fabulous prizes and a big money card worth as much as $10,000! Let's resume our game, I have a visual question for you... This is a picture of President James Buchanan. In what year did he take office as president of the United States? Was it before or after 1856? www.dougmorris.net/dice/HR78_BUZZIN.mp3Appropriately enough James signaled first about this question. James was it before or after 1856 that Buchanan took office as President of these United States?
