Well my friends, this is it: The last show of the Richard Dawson era is here. Among the changes for this episode:
The goal for Fast Money is now $400. Also, the lollipop tree rule has been changed a bit, so that the family who gains control of the first question will get to pick first, and the second family will pick at a later time. As before, the third member of each family will pick a number from 1 to 10.
I'm looking for six players to help give this era a proper sendoff. Meanwhile, here's a clip of an episode from the featured season:

Well, it was bound to happen eventually, to have Kevin go up against Matt after playing together on the first seven episodes. But anyway, we have four spots filled, and two more that are still open.

(1976 FF Open) ERIN HARRIS: It's time for the Family Feud! Introducing the Allington family: Josh, Matt and James, ready for action! And the Kolsen family: Kevin, Frank and David. On your marks, let's start...the Family Feud! (1976 FF Theme) With the star of Family Feud, Bill Skinner!Thank you! Thank you, thank you! Well, welcome to a new season of Family Feud, and I'm hearing some rumblings in Mark Goodson's camp that they're seriously thinking of making some changes around here. I don't think that Mr. Goodson would be too happy that he was facing some stiff competition from Merv Griffin. Last year, Merv debuted the syndicated version of Wheel of Fortune, a game show that could also be seen on NBC, and this year, he's bringing back Jeopardy! with a certain Canadian who used to host an old Goodson-Todman game show back in the 70s. It used to be that Goodson was the undisputed king of game shows, and now he's in danger of losing his title. Well, enough of that; let's get on to the game, where we have the Allington family taking on the Kolsen family. Also, there's a new rule for this year, where the first family to $400 will get to play Fast Money for $10,000! It used to be $300, and now it's $400, and we're adding an extra round to make up for the raised stakes, so there you go. Now Josh and Kevin, let's play the Feud! (1976 FF Face-Off Cue, guitar variant) Good luck to both of you, and here we go with the first round. We surveyed 100 people, and the top nine answers are on the board; you have to try to find the most popular answer. This is the question: Name a TV show that has the word Family in its title.

Good luck with your pick from the lollipop tree. #4 is your selection, and... (bells jangling) ...you got the $100 lollipop, congratulations! That $100 is just a bonus, so it will not count towards your total. As for your answer, I'm pretty sure it's number 1. Let's see it, the good old Feud! clang! That's the Number 1 answer! Well played, David. Now we come back to you, Kevin.
