Thank you one and all to Break The Bank! This is not only a game that is quick to learn and easy to play, but one of these two players if they win a best three out of five could play our newest bonus game called Break Or Bust where you will also have a chance to win a trip worth over $10,000 or a brand new car, whichever comes first! (huge applause) Rich, please introduce our two players please! Rich: Will do, Bryan! Our first player is a high school student from Washington D.C., meet Lenny Jackson! Then let's get this party started! (huge applause) Here is how the game is played: You see how all the dollar amount are connected: Each time you answer a true/false question correctly, you earn that box and if you connect three of the same boxes, you win one game and triple that amount along with a special surprise prize! If you connect two of the boxes with a Wild Card like this, not only do you win the money you also win a trip to where Rich? Rich: A trip to Yosemite! (applause) You will spend four nights at the Yosemite View Lodge in El Portal, California. The Yosemite View Lodge in El Portal, CA provides luxury accommodations just steps away from the entrance to the national park. Our 335 rooms and suites are meticulously appointed and amenity rich, offering the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. Most rooms are set along a spectacular stretch of the Merced River, featuring dramatic views from balconies and outdoor spas. Retail value: $2,947! (applause) And of course, that is not all! If you get three Money Bags, you will Break The Bank which tonight starts at..... (ding) $5,000! (huge applause) But now if you also connect two of the Money Bags with the Wild Card, not only do you Break The Bank, but you also win the trip! But one thing to watch out for this those blanks! Every time you find one, you will lose your turn! If you are the first to win three games, you will play our new bonus round called Break or Bust where you could win a trip, a car or if you find five Money Bags, you will win............................. (ding) $100,000! (huge applause) Now we are about to start Game One here! (ding) You both are wondering who will start first! I will ask a true/false toss up question and if you buzz in correctly you start the match off! If you miss, your opponent will! Good luck! True or false: Hot temperatures is what makes beer go skunked!

True

No it is false! It is light that causes beer to get skunked! Isohumulones, the bitter compounds in hops used in beer, are very sensitive to natural light (artificial light affects them, too, but not nearly as fast). Matt starts off control and picks first, good luck!

False

Post by Bryan on Dec 8, 2017 0:14:50 GMT -5
No it is true! (aWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW) Romans used an artificial sweetener, Sugar of Lead, to sweeten and preserve their foods without taking on additional calories. Sugar of Lead, likely the first artificial sweetener, is now known as the chemical compound Lead (II) Acetate, and it's a poisonous crystalline solid that resembles table salt. Matt gets the $300 box by default and also has one Money Bag! Matt, where to?

Yes it is false! (applause) The name of Uranus references the ancient Greek deity of the sky Uranus (Ancient Greek: Οὐρανός), the father of Cronus (Saturn) and grandfather of Zeus (Jupiter), which in Latin became "Ūranus" Lenny gets the $500 box and chooses again!

False

Post by Bryan on Dec 9, 2017 11:19:41 GMT -5
Believe it or not, it is false! (huge applause) This is from a report called wafflesatnoon.com: When NASA’s New Horizon’s mission buzzed by Pluto in July 2015, the decades-long debate about the dwarf planet’s size was finally answered. In terms of diameter, Pluto was found to be 2370 kilometers (1473 miles) across, which would easily fit within Russia’s largest east-to-west width of 10,000 km. It would also fit within the largest north-to-south size of 4000 km. Talk about Pluto with a size problem! (laughter) Lenny now has two $500 boxes and must decide where the third one is unless he finds a Wild CarD! Lenny which number is next?
