We are now in the penultimate season of the classic Richard Dawson era. Here's what's new for this show:
A lollipop tree is now placed on both families' side of the studio. This is how it works: The third member of each family will select a number from 1 to 10, in hopes of getting a lollipop that will have $100 attached to it. However, it will not count towards the families' totals.
As previously mentioned at the beginning of each show, six players are needed for this episode. So if you want to join in, please don't hesitate to sign up!
To see the lollipop tree in action, here's an episode from the featured season:

(1976 FF Intro)
ERIN HARRIS: It's time for the Family Feud! Introducing the Kolsen family: Kevin, Matt and Frank, ready for action! And the Gray family: Antonio, James and David. On your marks, let's start...the Family Feud! (1976 FF Theme) With the star of Family Feud, Bill Skinner!
Thank you! Thank you very much! Well, welcome to another edition of Family Feud, and for the second time, we're having a rematch of a previous episode, this time being the Kolsens and the Grays. Weren't they here the last time we played? Yeah, that's it. But anyway, we've added a new twist to the game: You see those lollipop trees? In a minute, we will ask Frank and David to pick a number from 1 to 10, and hope that they can get the lollipop with $100. And as you can see, the $100 lollipops will have the black stems instead of the white ones. Just talking about those lollipops is making me want to grab a few and suck on them myself, but I can wait until after the show. Now Frank and David, reach over there and pick a lollipop for yourselves, and then we can get to the business of feuding!

Let's see if you can find the $100. First up is Frank with 7. Will you get it? (Frank fails to pick a $100 lollipop, and audience groans) Oh no! That is not your lucky lollipop, but that's yours to keep. Now will David do better with 3? Go for it! (David also fails to pick a $100 lollipop, and audience groans once again) Shoot! We're 0-for-2 on the lollipop tree, but it's time to do what everyone came here for, which is to play the Feud! So Kevin and Antonio, join me up front! (1976 FF Face-Off Cue, guitar variant) Good luck to both families in this grudge match. Now we surveyed 100 people, and the top eight answers are on the board; you have to try to find the most popular answer. This is the question: Besides turkey, name a food item that is served at Thanksgiving dinner.

Save room for dessert, right? Let's see if it's up there. Pumpkin pie? clang! It's there, and we move back to Antonio. So far, you're halfway through the board, and you have no strikes. Can you keep this up?

That's a possibility, and I like that answer. Let's see if it's up there, corn? (strike buzzer) Uh-oh, strike one. Once you get three of those, the Kolsens will try to steal. Meanwhile, let's hear another answer from James.
