All deadlines are 48 hours and here we go. (cue intro) Rich: And now a game of high stakes! Where every decision is a gamble and every move could be your last. From Television City in Hollywood, it's High Rollers! (1987 theme) And here's the man with all the action, Mark Liotta! (I come out to a tremendous applause from the audience) Me: Thank you very much, Rich Fields. (Theme fades out) Welcome once again to another exciting edition of High Rollers. It's the middle of the week and we're glad you're able to take a half hour out of your day to join us. We've got $60,000 up for grabs in the Big Numbers and we hope to give it away to one of the two contestants that Rich is about to introduce us to. Rich: Our returning champion is a supermarket clerk from Council Bluffs, Iowa. Please welcome back Matt Riggenberg. Matt has a four day total of $54,176 and opposing Matt today is Josh Allington. Me: Josh, it's a pleasure to have you with us on High Rollers. Please tell the folks at home about yourself.

Ah, very nice. I was in Grade 12 once and it was a good time. Best of luck to you and Matt as we begin our first round. I think you'll both like the prizes we have available in the first game, so let's find out about them from Rich. Rich: In column one, it's a trip to Prague. You'll fly round trip from Los Angeles to Prague, Czech Republic for a six night stay in a deluxe room at the Pachtux Palace. Daily breakfast is also included. Retail value: $11,424. In column two, a range. It's a five burner gas double oven range courtesy of plessers.com; retail value: $2,145. And in column three, $15,000 in cash! Me: That gives a total value of $28,569 for the board in round one. (I just shake my head) Yes folks, it finally happened. Let's just put the numbers up there.
3 9 5 7 6 4 8 2 1
Hot column for the first game is column three and here's our first question of the match. What large country borders the Coral Sea?

(boop boop boop) The country we needed was Australia. Hopefully we have better luck with this next one. What game includes such terms as easyway, hardway, crazy kite, and large "X"?

No, it's the ever popular Bingo in which you'd find those terms used. Josh, you get the first roll of the day.

And here's the next question. In the PBS series The Puzzle Place, what are the names of the cat and dog?
Post by GameShowNetwork on Oct 28, 2017 14:16:35 GMT -5
(boop boop boop) The cat and dog are named Sizzle and Nuzzle on that series. Maybe the third time will be the charm with this one. In what year was the iPad first released?

$15,000 will go to Josh if he wins this round. Here's the next question, players. How many symphonies did Ludwig van Beethoven compose?
Post by GameShowNetwork on Nov 2, 2017 18:53:50 GMT -5
(boop boop boop) He composed nine symphonies. Let's try again with this one. What international sporting event is frequently played at St. Andrews, Scotland?
