*back to studio* [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Welcome back to the 45th Anniversary of Gambit. Now that Lenny and Matt are all set, I'll explain the short rules-- The object is to get closer to 21 than your opponent (without going over). Each time you answer a multiple choice question correctly, we'll give you 100 bucks. The player who's closer to 21 while have your opponent get busted or missed a sudden death question earns an additional $500. Let's take a look at the big bucks board on my podium. [CASH REGISTER RINGS]The contestant who has a combination of at least three cards could win the Any 21 Jackpot of $2,500. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]But whoever gets an Ace and either a 10 or face card, will will the Blackjack Bonus of $32,500! [MORE CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Before the start of the show, the guys at RANDOM.ORG have given our dealer Jennifer a deck of 54 super sized playing cards that were shuffled, cut, and sealed. Jennifer will now break the seal and show both players the first card up for grabs. Jenn...? Jennifer: Our first card in round 1 is an Ace! [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Tony: A very important Ace in round 1. Good luck to both of you. Here comes this $100 question... Atlanta, Dallas, or Minneapolis-- Prince launched his career in which chilly US city?*You have 24 hours to PM your buzz-code between 1 and 100.

Minneapolis, Minnesota is the correct answer. [APPLAUSE, DING]And you got your first hundred bucks in the first round, Lenny. Do you want to keep your Ace or pass it to Matt?

[CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Tony: You now have a 1 or a possible 11. If you answer the next question right and it's either a 10 or face card, you'll win the Blackjack Bonus of $32,500. [CHEERS, APPLAUSE CONTINUES]Jennifer won't reveal the next card unless someone answers the next question right. Here's the next question... Valhalla, Tartarus, The Labyrinth-- What was the lowest region of the underworld in Greek mythology?

[AUDIENCE BOOING, GROANS]Lenny... If I were you, I would have kept the card. Since you're passing the card to Matt, let's find out. Jennifer, please reveal Matt's first card. Jennifer: Lenny, you could have won a blackjack because Matt's first card is a Queen. [AUDIENCE CONTINUES BOOING, THROWS ROTTEN TOMATOES, CABBAGES, AND EGGS]Tony: Lenny... if you would have kept that card, you could have won $32,500 in the Blackjack Bonus. You still need a 10 or face card for a Blackjack Bonus win. Matt (meanwhile) is looking for an Ace to win the Blackjack Bonus. Next question... Binaries, Constellations, or Galaxies-- More than half of the stars in the sky are members of two-star systems called what?

Binaries is right. [APPLAUSE, DING]You now have $300. You need either a 10 or face card in order to win the $32,500 Blackjack Bonus, Lenny. Do you want to keep the card or change it to Matt?

[APPLAUSE]NOW, the audience approves your decision, Lenny. If your next card is either a 10 or face card, you'll win the $32,500 Blackjack Bonus. Jennifer, please reveal Lenny's next card. Jennifer: Lenny... your next card is-- *slowly reveals card* --an 8. [AUDIENCE GROANS, APPLAUSE]Tony: The good news is that you have a possible 19. Just 2 away from winning the Any 21 Jackpot. Before I read the next question, you have a decision. Do you want to continue the round or freeze?
