I believe that is true.

True is right (audience applause) We will briefly clarify we prepared this question before we learned of the passing of the star of "Benson", Robert Guillaume. May he rest in peace. (audience respectfully applauds) As for Jerry, he played the governor's speechwriter for three episodes. We have a match to resolve. Bill, you currently lead by $4175. Should no one roll a 7 or a 9, the player who controls more lucky numbers wins the game, the pot and the cash he's controlling. Obviously, we're tied for control of lucky numbers at one each. So that stalemate's going to be broken somehow. Big thing to keep in mind -- especially for Frank -- if no wild rolls happen, Bill, you'll end up with more cash in the bank -- and you'll be off to your third main event. So -- basically, if you roll, you'll want to avoid wild rolls. If you pass the dice to Frank, he'll need a good number of rolls of 2, 3, 11 and 12 just to have a shot at winning the match. Decision's yours, Bill -- roll or pass? (audience shouts suggestions)

All right, Frank, your fate is in your hands. Looks like you'll need more than a couple of wild rolls and then avoid a 7 to become the new champ. Let's see what happens. (Frank rolls)(scattered groans) And that's an 8. You're going to win this game -- but Bill's going to win the match. (ding)We'll give you the pot of $2500 *plus* the cash awards in blue that total another $800. There we have the final score. Frank with $4800 -- but our champion again with $5675, he's Bill McDee. (longer ASB win cue plays; audience cheers) Frank, not only do you take home $4800, you're also winning the fine gifts Bill Kennedy spoke of earlier. Please take them with our great thanks for playing. (audience cheers) Bill's going back to the main event. Maybe he'll clean house this time. Find out -- after this. (commercial cue plays; more cheers)

(ASB win cue plays; audience applause)As we were preparing for this main event, Frank and Bill were congratulating each other on a match well played. And it was well played. Bill McDee, you're now our three-time Lucky Numbers champ with winnings of $21,750. (audience cheers) All of his winnings are in cash. No prizes as yet. But maybe this will be the day it all turns around. Bill, as you know, during the main games, the lucky numbers were worth cash. But we're starting your third main event. By now, you know the lucky numbers hide portions of three different medals -- gold, silver and bronze. Each medal has been split in half -- and each half medal is hiding behind one of those lucky numbers. To collect half a medal, all you have to do is have a roll equal a lucky number. Now, let us show you those half medals. (reveal sfx)There they are. Rolls of 6 and 8 in any combination will give you the bronze medal. Roll a 5 and 9 and you collect the silver medal. And to capture the gold medal, you'll need rolls of 4 and 10. Now, let's cover them back up. Numbers are back. Bill, when you put together a medal, you may trade that medal in for a prize. The prizes haven't changed in a few days. Our announcer, Bill Kennedy, is about to remind our champ, Bill McDee, what he's rolling for. Go Bill. (prize music plays)Bill K.: All right, Bill, the prizes in the main event might make your head spin. That's because all the prizes -- spin. First, put together the bronze medal -- and your clothes will spin in this washer/dryer. From Frigidaire, this top of the line laundry pair will provide clean living for you and your family. This prize is valued at $1100. (audience cheers) Next, put the silver medal together -- and you'll get to trade it in for a top of the line roulette table. From Name of the Game comes this complete American Roulette table -- with full layout, chips, wheel, ball and much more. This prize is valued at $3295. (audience cheers)Finally, Bill, put the gold medal together -- and go for a spin in a BRAND NEW CAR!!! (audience cheers)Feel the need for speed with the Volvo S60 -- comes with a 240 horsepower engine, automatic transmission, cruise control, eight-speaker sound system and much more. This fantastic car is valued at $36,475.So far, this main event with spins is valued at $40,870. (audience cheers)Thanks, Bill Kennedy. Not only could you win all those fabulous prizes, Bill McDee we also have a progressive cash jackpot. You've helped build this jackpot -- which is now worth... (drum beats; cha-ching) (audience cheers)....$135,000! Quick reminder. Every wild roll of 2, 3, 11 or 12 adds $5000 to the pot *and* allows you to take any half medal you haven't claimed -- except for the one remaining half medal. When your down to one lucky number, you'll have as many as five rolls to collect that last half medal on a natural roll. So if you can clean house and put together all three medals, you'll win no less than $175,870 in cash and merchandise. (audience cheers)But as you know, any roll of 7 is still bad. First roll of 7 in the main event puts you in the danger zone; once there, anything and everything you've earned in this main event is at risk. The next roll of 7 means you lose everything in this bonus round. This is your third try at the lot. Think you can win it all?

(audience cheers)Great attitude. Let's see if the third *is* the charm. Good luck and go get 'em. (Bill rolls) (chimes; audience cheers) And what a great start. It's his third win and he just rolled a 3. (drum beats; cha-ching) Just like that, the pot goes up to $140,000. Bill, you may turn this 3 into any number that's on the board and snatch half a medal in the process. Which would you like? (audience shouts suggestions)

We'll make it a 10. (reveal sfx) We can't guarantee a woman with corn-rows in her hair will run across the studio in a gold one-piece. (scattered laughter from the crowd) In any event, you're half way to winning that car. Let's see if you get the other half. (Bill rolls) (audience cheers)Woo-hoo! You got the other half of the gold medal with that roll of 4. (reveal sfx) With that, you've got the car. *And* -- you're still rolling. (Bill rolls) (chimes; audience cheers) Woah! Another wild roll. (drum beats; cha-ching) Pot goes up to $145,000 now. Bill, would you like to make this roll a 5, 6, 8 or 9? (audience shouts suggestions)

Since I'm doing surprisingly fine, let us eliminate love potion number nine Doug!
Hi all, this is regarding today and the foreseeable future
I'm going to copy and paste this thread in Game Show Announcements, as well as any active threads in which I am currently participating.
This morning once again, when I turned on my 9 year old computer, the desktop screen was blank, no icons there. This is the second time this has happened. After rebooting, my machine worked again.
I recognize this computer is ancient. I mean I first got it the day after Thanksgiving in 2008, when Bush 43 was still President!
I also recognize at this point even if I were to take it to Geek Squad, chances are they would say the machine is too old to even bother fixing at this point. When I took it last year they were pushing hard for me to get a newer computer, and that simply is NOT in my family's budget right now. Truth is, I would really miss having my "toy" to play on and relax with, and I do enjoy listening to certain youtube bloggers, however I have my son's old laptop as a backup if need be.
Anyway, if this old girl dies on me, I will make every effort to let you all know as soon as possible.
Because of these issues, and because all of my artwork is on this machine, I cannot see myself in a position to continue hosting on a regular basis at this time.
Also, usually we pick my son up on Thursday afternoons from college and take him back on Sunday afternoons. During that time, I am wanting to spend more time with him, especially now that he's 18 already. It is unreal just how the passage of time accelerates both as we get older, but most especially once you become a proud parent.
As for today, Sunday, October 29th, I will update on here as a player/panelist while I can. We're due to get a mess of rain and wind and maybe some thunderstorms even. For this reason we already took our son back to college yesterday.
I try to update any thread that I participate in from my office too while doing my data entry. Circumstances currently afford me that ability to do so, however, usually the 3rd week of the month as well as the first week of the month are deadline weeks, so it MAY prove a tad bit more difficult to do updates during those weeks, but so far it's been okay.
Thank you all, Bill

[NOTE FROM DOUG: Bill's playing against the house. We easily can make downs untimed.]
Numbah nine, numbah nine, numbah nine it is. (reveal sfx) Half way to winning the roulette table. Let's face it, Bill, you're halfway to winning every but the kitchen sink. Five, six and eight are the rolls your lookin' for roll. Roll 'em again, please. (audience cheers as...) (Bill rolls)There's a 6. (reveal sfx) Halfway to winning the washer/dryer. (Bill rolls) (chimes; audience cheers) MAN ALIVE! (drum beats; cha-ching) Now -- Bill -- before you make a move on this wild roll, there's something to think about. The number you *don't* pick on this wild roll has to be rolled *naturally* -- and you'll have as many as five rolls to clean house. Wild rolls after this moment only add money to the jackpot. A 7 still puts you in the danger zone. So -- are you making this roll of 11 -- a 5 or an 8? (audience shouts suggestions)
