So it's 54 for grapebuy789... ding!...and lower for mringgenberg. ding! And the actual number of sports fans who said that they're tired of superteams forming in the NBA is... ding-ding-ding!...58, so it's not lower, and grapebuy789, who may not know much about sports, will get to play his cards first. Now Tiffany, what's the base? (6 ♥)It's a 6! Would you like to play the 6 or change it?

And we'll change the card to...
(10 ⋄)
...a 10! Is the next card higher or lower than 10?

That's better, I think. I'll go lower.

If this is lower than a 6, then you've won the game and will play Money Cards. If not, mringgenberg will get his chance. Now, for the win, is it lower than a 6? (3 ⋄)ding-ding-ding!(1978 CS Win cue) And that's another win for you, congratulations! I'm so sorry, mringgenberg, that you did not get to play this time, but you still have $15,700 from the last game, and I hope you had fun; thanks for playing. (1978 CS Theme) We now have a new champion in grapebuy789, and he's ready to take on the Money Cards. Find out how much he'll win right after this!

We're back with grapebuy789, who has $2,000 in guaranteed cash due to winning the main game. Now it's time to play the Money Cards for a shot at lots more cash! As always, we will start you off with $500 in betting cash, and you can bet any amount on the next card, except when you get to the Big Bet, in which you must then bet at least half of your bank. You will also be given a chance to change your base card on each of the two rows, and you will win and lose money in the amount of your bet, depending on what the next card is. And no matter how you do, you will be back to play on our next show. Now here's the first card that Tiffany will show you. It is... (J ♣) ...a Jack! Are you going to play it, or change it to something better?

I'll play off the Jack. I'll bet $250 and say lower.

For $750, is it lower than a Jack?
(2 ⋄)
ding!
Yes, it's a 2! Now what is your next bet?

Bet the whole thing and go higher!

I knew you'd go all of it higher, so for $1,500, is it higher than a 2?
(7 ⋄)
ding!
Right again, and we're ready for your next bet.

For $1,600, is it lower than a 7?
(6 ♥)
ding!
Of course. So we take that 6 and move it to the second row, plus you get $1,000 more in betting cash for a total of $2,600. Now would you like to play the 6 or change it?

I'd like to change the 6, please.

(K ♣)
...a King! What is your bet on this?

Little better. Let's try $300, lower.

For $2,900, is it lower than a King?

No, you go back to $2,300, but you can make your next bet right now.

For $4,100, is it lower than a 10?
(Q ♣)
buzz!
Sorry, you're down to $1,100. But that card goes to the very last row, and as I said, you must bet at least half of your bank, which is $550. You can also change the Queen if you wish, so what are you going to do?
|
|
|
Post by grapebuy789 on Oct 13, 2017 18:37:23 GMT -5
I'd like to change the queen.

You will change the Queen to what?
(8 ♣)
Oh boy, an 8! So now you must bet at least $550 here. How much will it be?

Now this could go either way: You'll have $2,100 total, or you go back to $100. And no matter what happens here, you will play again on our next show. So for $2,100, is it lower than an 8?
(A ♣)
buzz!
(audience groans)
Oh, pity indeed! Instead, you get just $100 in the Money Cards, but it's better than nothing. You didn't exactly play a poor round, it's just that the cards weren't favoring you today. (1978 CS Theme) When we factor in the $2,000 in guaranteed cash from the main game, you have a grand total of $2,100 for this one day on the show. Join us next time, when grapebuy789 takes on a new challenger. This is Bill Skinner saying thanks for watching and we'll see you again right here on Car Sharks. So long, everybody!
