Coming up next is 1986! Aside from the color overhaul, the Jackpot wedge will be added to the Wheel in Round 3. It's worth $1,000 and will be worth $2,000 in 1987 if it is not won on this show.
I need two players to challenge our returning champion, Matt. Who's game?

Okay, let's get this show on the road:
Audience: WHEEL!...OF!...FORTUNE! *1983 Changing Keys, 1984 edit* Jim Thornton: Look at this studio! Filled with glamorous prizes, fabulous and exciting merchandise! Including our all-new $1,000 cash jackpot! Dance the night away with this $13,000 classic vinyl jukebox! Explore the bustling metropolis of Hong Kong, a trip worth over $10,000! And combine cleanliness and sophistication with this all-new $19,000 Hyundai Elantra! Over $167,000 just waiting to be won today on Wheel of Fortune! And now, here is your host, Kevin Kolsen! Me: Hello, everybody! That's right, it's time once again to look back on another great year of Wheel of Fortune. We're going to play the way they did back in 1986 on the daytime show. One thing that hasn't changed, and I'll add that she still looks great after all these years, she's our hostess Vanna White! Hi, Vanna! *cheers and applause as Vanna walks through the curtain to the puzzle board* While she takes her place at the puzzle board, let's meet our three contestants. Player One today is Frank Sartori. Frank, as you know a big part of Wheel: Seasons is memories of America's Game. Now, do you have a favorite Wheel of Fortune moment of all time?

It's hard to choose. But I'm going to say when Pat Sajak couldn't find the million on the bonus round wheel. I think it was season 34 when that happened.

Agreed, I think that was Season 34's funniest moment. Matt Riggenberg, you're back with us for your second day with a grand total of $28,120.
*cheers and applause*
What about you? Do you have a favorite Wheel moment?

Yes, another funny moment. One that I'd say defines Wheel today. THIS IS WHEEL OF FORTUNE, JOE!
*laughter*
And on the right, we have a newcomer on our show. Josh Allington, is it?

So many great moments. I'd have to say the Pill Pushers blooper is my favorite but I have to give a special mention to the Regis Philbin & Kelly Ripa one a few years back. Might I add, Kelly's been "divorced" twice since. *laughter* Let's play Wheel of Fortune! *spins wheel* Top dollar on our brand spanking new wheel is $750. One thing that hasn't changed is the Bankrupt. If you land on that, you lose your cash but not your merchandise because once you buy a prize, it's yours to keep. Let's take a look at the first puzzle of the day... *puzzle reveal chimes* The category is Event. Just before the show, we drew numbers to see who would start the game. And Frank, it's going to be you. All the best!
