Well, let's see if the Cookie Monster's going to wait in the wings and eat more cookies during the tie-breaker -- or he'll be coming for introductions soon. First, Josh, let's see if you can run the table with this. Hey, did you hear about the cannibal who had a wife and BLANK children?

Life is like a raging river, so coarse and so swift. I'm afraid that was a terrible answer... So here's a parting gift.
Will it be some Cutco Knives or press-on nails from Lee? No, I've seen the announcer's spiel.. It's a Quasar 13" TV

(audience groaned as stars reacted) Doug: Cannibal had a wife and caveman children. Sounds like a special episode of "The Flintstones", doesn't it? (scattered laughter from the crowd) Bill, we start with you -- and I sense we'll end with you. Bill: Since the cannibals ate them all... (card) no children. (buzz) Doug: Not a match. Matt's got it. (dings; audience applause; win music plays; MG-HSH theme plays) Doug: What did the rest of you have? Doug: *Eight* -- 69? Doug: No, ate and ate. Doug: "Ate" was the answer. And since we were ultimately going for a pun, the number "eight", since it's a homophone, would've matched. Matt, please take your spot here in the blue dot. Josh, great to meet you. We'll be sending you back to Canada with some fine gifts and our thanks for playing Match Game. Nice hand for Josh Allington. (more cheers; MG desks and toaster roll stage left; rest of grid rolls in from stage right) Doug: (looking off stage) Cookie Monster, Mr. DeMille's almost ready for your close-up. Finish off that cookie, please. Matt, as for you, you're on to Hollywood Squares, Tony and I trade places, the Cookie Monster and two other great stars come to play. More fun's ahead. Stay right there.

Before The Cookie Monster eats up the entire stage... (audience laughs)...let's play the game. The object of the game is to get three stars in a row-- Either across, up and down, or diagonally. It's up to them if the star is telling the truth... or failed at not watching "Sesame Street" non-stop. (audience laughs, applause)That's how they get the square. We'll continue playing the game until we hear the time's up bell. Whoever is in the lead at the end of The Hollywood Squares, will become our winner and the right to play the Super Match for a chance to win up to $100,000. (cheers and applause)Round 1 is worth $1,000... and each captured square is $250. Patseen... since you're still the champ, you'll be going first. Whenever you're ready, please pick a square.
