(1978 CS Intro) ERIN HARRIS: Aces are high, deuces are low! Call it right, and win the dough...on Card Sharks! (1978 CS Theme) And now, here's the host of Card Sharks, Bill Skinner!Thank you very much, Erin Harris, and we're glad to have you join us for another episode of Card Sharks. At the end of our last show, we retired a five-time champ, koopakid17, who won well over $100,000 in cash, so we're starting this one with two new contestants; please give a warm welcome to joshallington and mringgenberg! Of course, the objective is to guess a series of five cards correctly before your opponent does, and each win is worth $1,000. All matches are two out of three, and the winner moves on to play Money Cards. But before we begin, we'd also like you to welcome our two dealers for the day, Amber Lancaster and Tiffany Coyne! While Amber deals joshallington's cards and Tiffany deals mringgenberg's, we will give joshallington the honor of answering the first question, since he signed up first. We asked 100 blackjack players: "Have you ever made the mistake of thinking you beat the house with a higher score, only to find out that you busted?"How many of those players said they have?

So joshallington says 35... ding!...and mringgenberg says it's lower. ding! The actual number of players who said that they have thought to have beaten the house with a higher score and then find out that they busted is... ding-ding-ding!...25, so it is lower, and mringgenberg will play his cards first. Now what's the first card, Tiffany? (8 ♥)It's an 8! Now would you like to play the card right away or change it?

He's going to change it! Now the new card is...
(5 ⋄)
...a 5! I don't know how much help that is, but is the next card higher or lower?

So mringgenberg will freeze at the 9, and we will get into a new question. Also, mringgenberg will get to answer the next question in the round. We asked 100 iPhone users: "Do you ever wonder what the person with Siri's voice looks like?"How many said yes?

And it's lower for joshallington. ding! The actual number of iPhone users who wonder what Siri looks like is... ding-ding-ding!...73, so it's not lower, and mringgenberg will resume from the 9 he froze at earlier. Do you want to play it or change it?

Once again, we freeze at the 7, and go to Question 3. joshallington, we asked 100 hurricane survivors: "Which was worse: Andrew in 1992 or Katrina in 2005?"How many said that Andrew was worse?

Again, joshallington says 35... ding!...and again, mringgenberg says lower. ding! Will lightning strike twice today? Let's find out right now. The actual number of hurricane survivors who said that Andrew was worse than Katrina is... ding-ding-ding!...48, so it's not lower, and joshallington has denied mringgenberg his chance to win, at least temporarily. Now let's see his first card, Amber. What is it? (A ♥)Son of a gun, you just drew the luckiest card out there, an Ace! Not that it matters now, but would you like to play or change it?
