B & O it is! Locking in again at 6 cash cars. Each one is worth $2,000 to the money meter this time. Train is leaving the station! Two-thousand... Four-thousand... (train whistle) Oh no! Darn Patseen, 0 for 2 so far... Only 2 cars on the B & O line today, but don't despair yet. You STILL have two more railroad lines to work with and there's still a 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 train in play, so you can still make a lot of money and could still possibly get the money meter to $50,000. Which of the eight remaining railroad lines do you want to select next Patseen? And how many cash cars do you want to see before you hit the brake?

Okay here's hoping the Reading Railroad will get you some much needed cash Patseen. $3,000 per cash car this time remember. Train is leaving the station! Three-thousand... Six-thousand... NINE-thousand! TWELVE-thousand!!!!!! FIFTEEN Thousand! Hang in there! Hang in there!!! EIGHTEEN THOUSAND!!!!!! Alright! (applause) Third time was the charm Patseen! You've banked $18,000, but let's see how many more cash cars, if any, are on the line... Twenty-One Thousand... Twenty-Four thousand....oh no! (train whistle) Okay you just left 2 cash cars unclaimed, not bad! Reading was the 8 train tonight. One last line for you to select Patseen, and this time each cash car is worth $5,000. This means you'll need the 7 train, 9 train or 10 train to bank $100,000. On the other hand, Frank won $25,000 earlier tonight. If you can get 2 or more cash cars, you'll take the lead in winnings and that can possibly affect your positioning with The Great Land Grab game later on. So you need to decide first on which line you want, and second, if you want to gamble and hit the brake at 7 cars, or play it a bit more conservatively. Think it over Patseen and tell me your decision on which line you want and when you want to hit the brake.

Going for the gusto! Lots of guts! Union is Patseen's final choice. We need it to be seven cash cars for $100,000 banked and a $50,000 guarantee! This would make you our first $100,000 winner of this season if it happens. Let's find out... Train is leaving the station! Five-thousand... Ten-thousand... Fifteen thousand! Twenty-thousand! Just three more... Twenty-five thousand! Thirty-thousand... and... and.... AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Fanfare and music galore) One HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS Patseen!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You had a rough start in this game, but wow what a comeback! Congratulations! And when WE come back, our two time champion's going to play for $100,000 as well. He may not have the advantage tonight in The Great Land Grab! So much more excitement coming up right here, at the Monopoly Millionaire's Club! (high fiving Patseen on a terrific win)

(applause) Welcome back to the Monopoly Millionaires' Club. Hey we just had our first $100,000 winner this season! Let's look at the leaderboard... Frank banked $25,000 playing Electric Company and Patseen after a rough and slow start, ended up banking the maximum prize of $100,000 playing Ride the Rails! Now we're about to meet our TWO time defending champion, going for his third and final win tonight. If he wins The Great Land Grab and wins the bonus game, he'll drive home in a new Rolls Royce automobile! He's won $913,250 in cash in just two nights, please welcome back from the great state of Virginia, Raymond Weaver! (applause & cheers) Raymond, welcome back to you once again. Tonight you have your work cut out for you. Patseen banked the top dollar amount moments ago, so for you to have any chance of going first tonight in The Great Land Grab, you'll have to bank $100,000 in your individual game, then win another qualifier against Patseen as well. First things first Raymond, as this is your final night with us, in addition to reminding our viewing audience about you, is there anybody you'd like to say hello to tonight?

(chuckling (and for real here too!) ) Well well, it's deja vu all over again! Raymond, for the second consecutive week, you're going to a Block Party! (applause) 12 numbered cards, 8 of them contain the 8 property sets found on the Monopoly board, and they range in value from as little as $1,000 to as high as $20,000. Three strikes on the board too. The first strike is like a warning shot, the second strike reduces your bank by half and if you hit the third strike before uncovering all eight property groups in this game, you will win nothing. One card says "Block Party". If you uncover that card, you can complete one entire block or one entire side of the board with that one card. Keep in mind if you can get all 8 property sets before you strike out, you'll bank $100,000, and you will NEED to do that in order to possibly have a chance of going first again with The Great Land Grab game tonight. And as always, whatever you end up banking here, you're guaranteed at least half that amount. Raymond, start us off with a lucky number please.

Number 6 Let's reveal it! (groans in the audience) Well, that's strike 1 out of the way at least. 9 cards are good and only 2 are bad now Raymond. Where to now?

Let's see what's lurking under number 10 tonight... (gasps in the audience) Yipes stripes! Strike TWO?!?!?! But let's try to look on the bright side. You had $0 in the bank, so that second strike cut that $0 in half! Didn't cost you any money. Also, now EVERY CARD save one is a good/safe card Raymond! And remember, Patseen started out very slowly during his $100,000 game and ended up going all the way! What number this time?

Number 4, okay let's get on a winning streak here and now! OH NO!!!!!! (Screams in the audience) (falling down on the floor) I truly can NOT believe that! Girls, please turn over the remainder of the cards... Everything was up there, but Raymond, 3 strikes in 3 picks, aye aye aye... So truly sorry about that, but you have over $900,000 in winnings and even though you will be going last tonight in The Great Land Grab, anything can still happen there! We'll have that game between all 3 of our contestants, here at the Monopoly Millionaires' Club, right after these words of interest!

(applause) Burton Richardson: And now it's time to determine who will play for $1,000,000, here once again is Bill McDee with "The Great Land Grab"! Thank you Burton. Our two time champion Raymond Weaver finds himself in an unfamiliar situation, having finished in third place tonight. Very tough luck at the Block Party, all 3 strikes in a row. Our crack statisticians computed the odds of that happening, 3 strikes on the first three picks are less than 1 half of one percent! However Raymond, you could overcome the odds here tonight! We'll see what happens. Frank banked $25,000 in our first game tonight playing Electric Company, he's going home with at least $12,500. Patseen, after a slow start, became our first $100,000 banker this season playing Ride the Rails and is guaranteed to go home with at least $50,000. Patseen, you will go first. Gentlemen, please look at our game board. 28 numbered boxes on the board. 22 of them conceal the title cards of the 22 properties on the Monopoly board, 4 of them conceal the 4 railroads, and 2 of them conceal the utilities. Patseen, you will select a number and we will reveal what's behind that number. You will have the option to keep that property or pass it down to Frank or Raymond. As top winner tonight, you have the privilege of passing one property to each of your two opponents. Frank, as runner up, you have the option to pass one property down to Raymond when it becomes your turn. The cash value for each property kept will be put up on your tote boards. The top land grabber will win 25 times their total plus keep all of their front game winnings and will earn the right to play for $1,000,000! The two runners-up in this game will receive 5 times their land grab total. One last thing to keep in mind players, if you capture a Monopoly, the land values for all properties involved will then be doubled! So some strategy involved there as well. Patseen, if you have no questions, please select a number and we'll proceed.

Alright, let's hit 23!

|
Post by billmcdee on Aug 20, 2017 9:26:34 GMT -5
23 is... Baltic Avenue, along with Mediterranean, the cheapest properties up there, but if you combine them both, you'd double the $120 to $240. That being said, are you keeping Baltic? If not, to whom do you wish to pass it?

And I am sure Frank is so grateful to you for that! (Chuckling a bit)...but hey you never know how things may turn out! Patseen, number 12 now belongs to you for the moment and that reveals... Pennsylvania Avenue, a green property. $320 value for that one. Keeping it or pass it to Raymond?

That gives you a nice healthy start. Number 2 is next... Hello! Boardwalk. A silly question but I am required to ask of you Patseen, are you keeping it or passing it down to Raymond?

Hello Boardwalk! I'll take it!
Numbah wan, please!

Wan as in one I assume? (Game will continue this afternoon)...
Also an added note:
Since we will be helping my son move this Saturday, August 26th, we'll be busy pretty much all of Saturday and I probably will not be on here much if at all. Friday I'll probably be on very limited as we'll want to spend time with our son, plus we have a new dryer being delivered to us on Friday as well.

Nothing short of an incredible start for you Patseen. Number 1 is... Indiana Avenue, $220 value on that property. Are you keeping it Patseen or are you passing it to Raymond?
