It's a brand new start for Card Sharks. After saying farewell to a 5-time champion Matt Ringgenberg, it's time we bring new faces to this episode. I'm looking for two contestants to play against each other for a shot at winning $168,000 including a brand new car. If you want to participate, please let me know and be on standby.

Sweet! Good luck to you, Raymond. Now that we've gotten to know our players, please allow me to explain the rules. Each player has their own set of 60 super-sized playing cards that were shuffled and cut before the start of the show. Raymond will be playing the red cards and Lenny will be playing the blue cards. The object of the game is to guess if the next card is higher or lower than the card that precedes it. You may freeze at any time. And whoever wins the best 2 out of 3 games will be playing the Money Cards for a shot at winning $168,000 including at least a chance at winning a brand new car. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]*G2-T2 hovers to center stage* Before you call on the cards, you must answer a High-Low toss-up question. We begin round 1 with our first question for Raymond since he had won the toss backstage. Raymond... we've asked 100 married women-- Have you ever picked a fight with your husband just to keep him out of a romantic mood? How many of them say they had picked a fight with their husband to kill a romantic mood?

I don't they are thinking that way, so I'm gonna say it's low at 23.

[DING]23 out of 100 say they had picked a fight with their husband to kill a romantic mood. What do you think of the answer, Lenny... higher or lower?
|
|
|
Post by redrangerdude on Aug 5, 2017 8:55:53 GMT -5
I'm going to say it's a little higher because I believe most women would want more time for themselves instead of being with their husbands all the time.

[DING]If it's higher, you'll play your cards. If not, Raymond will play his. And if one of you get the answer exactly, you will receive a $1,000 bonus. Raymond says 23 and Lenny says it's higher... The actual number of married women say they had picked a fight with their husband to kill a romantic mood is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]63. Lenny is right... it is higher. With that being said, player 2 will be playing his cards. Lenny... you'll begin round 1 with this card-- --an 8. Not a very good card. Lenny, do you want to play on your 8 or change your card?

HIGHER!

Post by tmann3x on Aug 7, 2017 12:11:15 GMT -5
Higher than a 2... [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]It's a $2,500 cash card! Lenny, if you win this (or the second round), you will automatically win the 2 and a half grand. While Rachel places it in the prize column, Amber will hand me now a replacement card. Do you still want to call on your 2 higher, Lenny?

[APPLAUSE]And we'll move the freeze bar for our challenger... protecting his cards from the opposing player. Coming up after the break, we'll have our second question ready for Lenny. More cards, cash, prizes, and surprises are still to come when Card Sharks returns following this commercial time out. Stick around, folks...
