That's your first round chain. After the first round, Michael with the early lead 1250 to 250 over Clément. But the game is young and we'll up the ante in the next round.

Yes, I do. I'm coming from Angers, France, I'm a great fan of game shows and sports, as you can see on my avatar. It's an interesting challenge for me to play a word game in a foreign language.

Every link in this round is worth $500. The player who completes the chain scores another $500. And don't forget that money link in the middle. The first player to solve that link not only scores -- but also picks up a bonus of $250 per letter in that link. That bonus money does not apply to the score of the game -- but is yours to take home -- that is assuming we're not *billed* that much money for repairs to the board.
