After a cash amount has been hit, you have the option to stop and take the money or Press Your Luck. If a Whammy is hit, you lose all of your money up to that point, and you MUST play again. Does advertising really work? In most cases, no. Only the gullible are likely to buy anything and everything they see. A Coke commercial is not going to convert a Pepsi drinker. A Lexus commercial is not going to affect someone with a Kia budget. A name on a stadium is not going to make one buy from that company. The entire breakfast cereal industry was created by advertising because the mass manufacturing of oats for horsefeed created a surplus, and the best way to sell off that surplus was, you guessed it, Quaker Oats. Think before you buy for the upcoming Holiday Season, and stay home for Thanksgiving instead of feeding the "need" of retailers to have to be open that day. The retail workers want to be home, too.
