And we change it to...
(3 ♥)
...a 3! Are you going higher or lower on that?

Post by koopakid17 on Jul 26, 2017 12:28:03 GMT -5
HIGHER!
Post by Bill Skinner on Jul 26, 2017 22:43:36 GMT -5
Higher than a 3?
(7 ⋄)
ding!
Yes! Now one more card, and you go back to the Money Cards for the fourth time. Your decision?

Not with that card, I'm freezing.

So we'll freeze at the 7, and get into the third question of the round. mrb2000, we asked 100 movie fans: "Would you pay to see Space Jam 2 if it is ever made?"How many of those people said yes?

Look, Space Jam was an awesome movie.
Sure, you'd have stars like Kobe in the film, but i'm just not sure. The sequel's never quite as good anyway.
I would say 42.

mrb2000 says 42. ding!koopakid17, is the actual number higher or lower?
Post by koopakid17 on Jul 29, 2017 17:23:01 GMT -5
I agree with that. Space Jam was my childhood and a second movie won't have the same magic as the first. I'll say lower.
Post by Bill Skinner on Jul 29, 2017 23:40:33 GMT -5
And koopakid17 thinks it's lower. ding! The actual number of moviegoers who would pay to see the Space Jam sequel is... ding-ding-ding!...29, so it is lower, and once again, koopakid17 will start from the 7. Would you like to play or change it?

I will change it!
Post by Bill Skinner on Jul 30, 2017 0:32:29 GMT -5
And what does that 7 become?
(K ♠)
A King! Call this right, you will win again. Now is the next card higher or lower?

Lower!

Post by Bill Skinner on Jul 30, 2017 13:31:56 GMT -5
If this is lower than a King, you go on to the Money Cards round, plus $2,000 guaranteed cash in your pocket for winning the two rounds. Is it? (Q ♣) ding-ding-ding!(1978 CS Win Cue) You win again! And for the fourth time in a row, you will be in the Money Cards round. As for you, mrb2000, we're sorry you did not win, but we have some lovely parting gifts for you and our thanks for playing; we'll see you again. (1978 CS Theme) Alright koopakid17, we'll see if you can add a lot to your stash. We'll have the Money Cards round coming up on the other side of this break.

And for the fourth time, koopakid17 will play the Money Cards round in order to win lots of cash! You already know how this works, so let's get to it right now. You get $500 to begin the round, and you will have the chance to change your base card for each row, and today, we start out with... (6 ♣) ...a 6. Are you going to play the 6 or change it?

Can I change?
Post by Bill Skinner on Aug 1, 2017 21:46:51 GMT -5
No, the King was the base in your current row. Since you already played it and are now on your third card in the row, you must play it right now.

Okay, $1,000 lower!
